This St. Maarten Polaris Buggy Excursion will take you for a ride around the entire island passing through both St. Maarten and Sint Martin (also known as the Dutch and French sides). Stop for incredible countryside views, plane landing just overhead and sandy beach break and more buggy sightseeing. St. Maarten is the perfect scenery for this 4 wheel island driving adventure.

The fun all-terrain vehicle shore excursion begins when your English speaking buggy guide greets you outside the Philipsburg cruise terminal. If you are traveling with your family or small group - 4 seater Polaris Buggies are available, the price is per buggy. This can be a whole family fun day as child car seats are available too! Pricing is per buggy not per person. Please note that this excursion is not available from Marigot.

Your experienced buggy cruise excursion guide will explain how to operate your automatic transmission Polaris ATV vehicle. After this brief course and with all the traffic rules given, you will be ready to hit the road and follow the buggy shore excursion guide out to start the fun in St. Maarten and St. Martin.

You will drive along the island's coast and up the hill to Guana Bay lookout spots. You will have the chance to make a quick photo stop for amazing views of Philipsburg downtown, cruise ships and St. Barth Island. Continue to Salt Lake through the Middle Region where you can opt to visit the Iguana Farm for an additional $5.00 US per person (entrance fee not included, optional excursion stop).

Then, crossover with your St. Maarten buggy to the French side (Sint Martin) you will pass Orient Bay and through Cul de Sac and Grand Case. Reaching Marigot, the capital city, you can look around the open air market and also have the option to purchase lunch in an authentic Creole restaurant (a full meal cost around $12.00 US per person).

Driving East, you will see Sandy Ground, Nettle Bay and Terres Basses, all with beautiful white sandy beaches and modern houses and massive villas. You can stop for a quick dip in the ocean at Mullet Bay on this St. Maarten Polaris Buggy Shore Excursion!

Next on the excursion itinerary is a stop at famous St. Maarten Maho Beach to watch a plane landing so close overhead that you may think you should duck! After the thrill of the plane spotting while on your buggy cruise excursion, the group will continue to a local watering hole in St. Saunders for a complimentary drink.

An optional tour will wind through the Philipsburg shopping area for a close to a perfect day in St. Maarten. At the end of the St. Maarten Adventure Buggy Excursion, your guide will take you back to your St. Maarten cruise ship terminal.

Due to the optional stops along the way - this buggy excursion can last from 4 to 6 hours, depending on the group's interests and individual cruise ship schedules. Note: there is an additional $20.00 USD insurance fee for each buggy driver (to be paid on-site).
