For this off-road buggy kart shore excursion, you are picked up at the cruise ship pier in Ketchikan by motor coach and transported to the rainforest wilderness. Along the way, you will learn about the history, culture, and economy of Ketchikan and Alaska as well as have a little fun.

After a 30-minute transfer to the Adventure Kart Cruise Excursion base camp, your Ketchikan shore excursion guides will meet you and help you gear up for your off-road kart adventure excursion. Next, you will receive a safety briefing and an overview of what is to come. Feel the rush of adrenaline at the start of your Ketchikan shore excursion as you navigate an obstacle course in a custom-designed Polaris RZR that tests your ability to traverse through the remaining Alaskan wilderness. Then it is time to head out on this exciting, 90-minute guided trek. Your kart is an automatic drive.

Your caravan of karts will seek to explore the remote Ketchikan backcountry along several miles of improved forest trail, with your adventure shore excursion guide in the lead ATV. A comfortable and safe pace is maintained as you thread your way around steep curves, climbing to reveal unparalleled views of the Tongass National Forest, Behm Canal, and Alaska's fabled Inside Passage.

Excursion stops will be made along the way to soak up the grandeur and beauty of this lush land and take photos. Approximately halfway through this Ketchikan Alaska Adventure Kart Cruise Excursion, a stop will be made to stretch and enjoy a snack and water before beginning the second part of the drive. Drivers and passengers have the opportunity to switch positions at this point for the return trip.

Your adventure kart caravan will continue along forest trails. You will return back to the excursion base where you will have approximately 15 minutes to stretch, use the facilities, or purchase a souvenir.
