    Excursion Notes
      • The entrance fee to the Pompeii ruins is not included, please consider an additional 15 Euros per person. This fee may vary slightly and is ONLY payable in Euros. Option to add-on when your book (see below).
      • Entrance tickets to Pompeii can be exchanged at the PRIORITY TICKET OFFICE of Pompeii at the entrance of Porta Marina. If you have any questions, please ask your friendly staff where to go.
      • Guided walks through Pompeii can be added on the day of the excursion for an additional cost. Please check directly with the operator.
      • Please be advised this service is provided by reservation and your ticket IS NOT usable for a different time from the one shown on your booking. You will choose your return time on the day of the excursion.
      • If you miss your shuttle back to Naples, there may or may NOT be space on another bus. This is a shuttle transportation service only and is not a guided excursion.
      • As you may be visiting a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered on men and women.
      • We suggest you have cash (Euros) on hand for the entrance fee, refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
      • Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.
      • Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if the requirements are not met.
      • You must print and surrender a paper version of the voucher for this activity (showing your voucher on a smartphone is not accepted). No refund will be given to customers without a printed copy of their voucher.

    Excursion Restrictions
    • Minors 18 years and younger must present proof of identity; in the absence of a document, they will be charged at the adult rate.
    • Infants must sit on the lap of paying adults or they will be charged a child rate.
    • This is not a wheelchair-accessible excursion.
    • Guests must be able to step in and out of the transportation.
    • Guests must be able to walk on paved, gravel, and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines.
    • There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.
    • Seating on the bus is on a first come basis.
    • Excursion tickets are only valid on City Sightseeing buses. Unused tickets or tickets presented to another operator are non-refundable.
    • As there is no specific end time to the excursion, it is the guest's responsibility to know their ship's scheduled departure time and plan their day to be back on board at the appointed time.
    • Schedule times might change due to traffic or any other force majeure.

    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.

Beautiful area. Spent the whole day wandering around taking our time as we did not get the guide. It was easier for us to just wander around and stop where we wanted to stop.

Pompeii is a must-see when you visit Naples in my opinion. I wanted to go but I don't like to have a guided tour where I can hardly hear from the back so this shuttle was perfect for my plans. It is safe, reliable and clean transportation. I'm very satisfied because this is a quality shuttle and very punctual service back and forth from our pier.

I couldn't see Pompeii on my last cruise. I wanted to get there quickly, see at my pace with just general guidance and information and have the opportunity to take many many photos. So this shuttle was exactly what I needed. I recommend 100%.

While planning for our cruise to Italy I found Shore Excursioneer and decided on this straightforward option to visit the buried city of Pompeii. We are fascinated with archeological sites and Pompeii was definitely in our bucket list. I simply recommend you to visit..pictures just don't do it justice...Our driver was waiting for us at the pick up time we chose and took us back to Naples with plenty time to spare.
