Come enjoy a day pass at the beach at "La Chilangaloense" Beach Club. Sun, white sandy beaches, perfect turquoise waters, food, drinks, and more are calling for you to come and relax for the day.
You won't have to travel far from your Costa Maya cruise pier to begin your beach club day pass of fun in the sun! It is just a short 10-minute taxi ride from your Costa Maya cruise terminal. Taxis are plentiful and easy to use. The staff will be waiting for you at the front gate, check you in, and then the day is yours. Crowds are kept to a minimum as there is a maximum of only 45 passes daily per day for the beach. Rustic quaintness provides a tropical beach vacation feel!
Spend your day soaking up some sun, strolling along the white sandy beach, or maybe enjoying some snorkeling. You will have access to the loungers, beach chairs, hammocks, and even snorkeling equipment that are all included in your day pass at no additional cost. The tables, chairs, and loungers are first-come, first-sit. The staff at the beach club will be glad to assist you in gathering chairs in one area for your group if needed (this may take a bit of time depending on the occupancy).
The second-largest barrier reef in the world is located about 20-30 yards off the beach where you can swim and view the rich marine life. Many species of tropical fish, nesting turtles, and other colorful marine life make this their home. Keep your eyes open as you enjoy a self-guided snorkel! The coral reef is teeming with various colors and shapes. Snorkeling gear is first-come, first-use, you are also welcome to bring your own.
Also included in your Costa Maya beach day pass is one item you can pick from the lunch menu as well as 5 hours of open bar for adults (please see list below), and 5 hours of non-alcoholic beverage service for teens and children. Although substitutions are not allowed, guests may purchase additional items from the regular restaurant menu at their expense.
Want to get in a bit of shopping? No worries! The main street along the beach has many small stores for some great shopping within a few minutes walk from the beach club. There are also vendors strolling the public area of the beach where you can browse their items. Note that you can move your chair into the private area of the beach club if you do not want to interact with the vendors.
When you are ready, you may take a taxi back to your Costa Maya cruise ship port at your leisure and expense. Please note that guests are not allowed to stay past 07:00 PM. Please make sure you know the all-aboard time for your ship and if there is a difference in local versus ship time.

One selection (item) from the beach club lunch menu: fish tacos, chicken chimichanga, fish ceviche, beef tacos, chicken or beef quesadillas, and chicken or beef burrito.
Bar menu choices (5-hour open bar, adults only): Mexican Beers, Mojitos, Margaritas, Piña Colada, Mai Tai, Long Island Iced Tea, Rum and Coke, bottled water, soft drinks, fresh juices, and much more!
