    For this Amazing Cozumel Race Cruise Excursion, you will meet just a short walk from the downtown pier or a 5-minute taxi ride from the other piers. All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    How many people are on a team?
    There is a minimum of 2 per team and a maximum of 10 members.
    I am traveling with a group of children - is this a suitable excursion?
    Yes! The only requirement is that each team must have an adult.
    Sounds fun but we have never been to Cozumel and do not know where to go.
    The clues, our staff situated along the way, and a very small downtown area make it impossible to get lost. We even provide a special cell phone to each team to use during the race...just in case!
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Amazing Cozumel Race Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Amazing Cozumel Race Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Our family participate in the famous Amazing race in Cozumel and had a blast!! This is the simplest and fun way to interact and learn about the local people & places of the island. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We visited the local market full of fresh food and local handicrafts, after ending with the race we return to the local market to purchase our souvenirs. We ended up on the 2nd place!

This was so much fun! Patty and Martin are awesome! They are watching from various locations along the way. We never felt unsafe! Our family was the only one booked this day, so we split into 2 teams. We had so much fun and saw a Cozumel most others never do. As a bonus, we purchased some great nachos at the end of the race!

Family of 5 with a 10month old. Martin was awesome, directions to meeting point was excellent-truly a local experience and stayed true to the show Amazing Race. You won’t be disappointed. I don’t want to give away too much - but it was amazing. Just remember at the marketplace, the local restroom-you must pay to use restroom- exchange your $$ for pesos. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We as a family of 5 had a blast doing this race, staff and the residents along the route were very friendly and helpful , I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking for fun and being off the beaten path of Cozemel!!, Do it you will not regret it!!

Had a great time. The Amazing Race People were so nice. People in town very helpful as well even if we didn't need help they pointed us in correct direction. Learned culture, places of things and names. Lots of walking.

The best excursion a family could do. We did it on Thursday January 30th and we won. What a great way to spend time looking throughout cozumel. Best guides and great people. I would do it again and again. If you want to do something fun, do this. !!!!!!!! (reprinted from Fan page)

Our whole family wanted to do this and when it was not offered on our ship, we found it offered on Shore Excursioneer. The whole staff was very helpful. My kids especially enjoyed solving the "clues" and had a great time even though our family did not win. We all can't wait to do this one again.

If you have never done an Amazing Race, Cozumel is a great place to try. They are so organized and everyone has a great time. It was funny to hear the shop owners yelling "Amazing Race" as the teams ran by! The course is all done in the downtown area with one secret part too. Hands down this one was fun.

My friend and I have done several Amazing Race tours in different cities before. If you have never done an AR, you have no idea what you are missing. And this one was great!!! It is as fast paced as you want to go. Some people walked, others ran from clue to clue. You are given a map and your first clue. You have to solve the clue to figure out where you need to go. Just like Dora the Explora! Or Indiana Jones! You do not need to worry about getting lost because the route is all downtown. There are staff members positioned in key points along the way. The locals even get in on things and help you out with clues. If you get totally stumped with a clue, the staff gives you a cell phone to use to call the base to get help. It really is fun and great to see that checkered flag at the finish line!!!
