Even after our cruise ship was late arriving and our flight over to San Pedro also being delayed, putting us 2.5 hrs behind schedule, they were fantastic working with us and were able to get us out and completing a two tank dive in less than two hours and still got us to our flight back to Belize city on time to catch our ship. The dives were spectacular and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I would have to rank this experience as one of the top in my life. It was amazing. I was cruising on the carnival dream. We tendered into Belize City. This was the only glitch in the whole day. I planned to be able to be at the pier by 830 and that is not possible if you arrive at 8. Make note that if your ship arrives into Belize at 8 that you should plan on the 9:30 flight to Ambergris Caye at earliest. I was late to the airport but it wasn't a problem. The amazing staff worked around it. This also happened to a fellow diver on Royal Caribbean that day. This did cause a lot of stress on me before I realized it was going to work out so just plan on that & avoid the unnecessary stress. I took a short taxi ride to the municipal airport. I was a woman traveling alone and a little concerned about this but there was another couple there also looking to go to the airport and I rode with them. I am glad I did because the gentleman negotiated the rate of the taxi ride and got a better deal. The process at the airport is simple. I even brought my own dive gear and that was not a problem. The flight into Ambergris Caye was breathtaking. The flight alone was worth the price. If you have anyone in your group that does not dive, trust me they would love to fly over with you and could relax on the island while you dive. When I arrived at the airport, the staff there contacted the dive shop and within just a few minutes one of their staff was there to walk me back to the dive shop. A short walk and he carried my dive bag. At the dive shop the professional staff took care of everything. It was a short boat ride out to the dive site. I was with 5 other divers, 4 of which this was their 2nd dive of the day. The dive master Roy AKA Ghandi was great. He didn't let anyone limit anyone else. When we dropped down we immediately saw 8 active nurse sharks. It was incredible . They followed us around for the dive. We saw eels, turtles and tons of fish. When we surfaced, the entry back on to the boat was pretty rocky but the professional staff made it as easy as possible. We took the short ride back to the dive shop for the surface interval. For the surface interval I went to the restaurant that is closest to the pier of the dive shop. I believe it was called Calieta or something like that. I order the guac and chips and let me tell you they were the best ever. There was a gentleman on the beach there that was making wooden figurines for prices there were much more reasonable than any of the gift shops. For the 2nd dive, it was just me and the young man from the Royal Caribbean boat with the DM. What a great peaceful dive. Again saw nurse sharks and turtles. We came back to the dive shop where the staff assisted me with disassembling my gear and rinsing it off. They then gave us a golf cart ride back to the airport. Golf carts seem to be the main mode of transportation on the island. We waited for just a few minutes for the next plane and then took that beautiful flight back to Belize City. The same taxi driver was there to pick us up and he took us back to the cruise terminal. I can't stress enough that this is A MUST for divers. I would definitely do this again.

This was the very best place to dive. I have not been a diver for long so I am still amazed every time I get under the water. This tour was a breeze - they were expecting us at the airport in Belize City. The flight over to the island was really quick and there was staff waiting for us at the airport so we got started right away. The fish were so large and colorful. I am glad that we did the 2 tank dive and made a day of it. I was just pleased with this tour all the way around and recommend to any diver or even those who love to snorkel.
