We suggest you wear comfortable clothes and closed toes shoes.
Bring along sun protection, sunglasses, insect repellent, and cash for balance payment, beverages, food, tips, or Souvenirs.
There is no swimming involved but you can enjoy a great ocean breeze and view.
Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if requirements are not met.

Excursion Restrictions

All ATV drivers must present their valid driver's license
The minimum age to participate is 12 years old (passenger rider behind a licensed adult)
Please note the minimum age to drive alone is 18 years old.
The maximum weight per ATV is 350lbs (159Kg)
People under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or similar substances that may prevent safe enjoyment, are not allowed to participate.
Not suitable for pregnant women, people with back pain, heart problems, or other serious medical conditions.
Not recommended for those without manual dexterity in both hands

Is the ATV excursion canceled if it is raining?

The Grand Turk ATV Adventure Excursion can be operated rain or shine, however, it is the local operator who will decide if the excursion may be canceled due to safety reasons.

What happens if I miss my excursion departure because the ship arrives late?

You might be rescheduled, just proceed to the meeting site or call us on the hotline number.

May I ride without a leading guide? I'm an experienced driver!

Even if you are an experienced driver, you must follow your guide in order to prevent any accidents, as you may not be familiar with the trails.

Do I need my driver's license to drive the ATV?

Yes, you need to have your driver's license with you during the excursion.

I have never ridden an ATV before. Can I take this Grand Turk ATV excursion?

Of course, your experienced guide will show you all you need to know to enjoy this ATV excursion. The ATVs are automatic which makes the drive easy.

Is lunch included?

No, however, all participants can have an optional authentic Caribbean meal (jerk ribs, jerk chicken, codfish cakes, chicken and pigtail soup, peas, and rice and festivals), at the Jucky Jerk Caribbean food truck (stated as one of the best-kept secrets on the Island, by Frommers Travel) The cost of the meal is approximately $12-$20 US dollars.

Do I need to take my passport with me on the Grand Turk ATV Adventure Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?

No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.

Cancellation

For the Grand Turk ATV Adventure Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
Your ship skips/misses the port.
Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
