FIRST TIME ON ATV AND IN RAINFOREST= AWESOME Atlanta

This was my very first cruise and first excursion. I was so nervous getting off at the port in Rotan. There were soliders with guns and it was chaos. I couldnt easily find the meeting point, but I asked one of the groups outside who i was looking for, they made a call and my driver arrived. After verifying that they had my name down and i was the intended guest, we travled out to the the site (about 20-30 min) where I met the best guide (forget his name) - this actually ended up being a solo adventure with just me and the guide and his colleague. We toured several villages, the guide (did I mention how awesome he was) was sideways on his ATV taking videos of me on my ATV splashing through puddles and mud! We went to several photo opportunity spots where the guide took some great shots. Rode to a beach and hung up for about 20 mins and then returned back to the meeting point. Entire ride lasted about an hour, would probably lasted longer if there was a full group. Overall, I would rate 10/10 as this was awesome seeing the different villages, the beaches as there is so much interesting culture in Roatan! I would definitely recommend!

The tour guide for the ATV's, Emmanuel was very knowledgeable, respectful, and courteous. My husband and I went down hilly terrain and over a little stream. We went through a couple of villages and took a few photo ops during the ride. I would recommend this excursion to anyone looking for adventure

This was by far the best excursion we've been on. The guide was absolutely amazing, taking us through his personal village and several others to see the difference. He was very informative of the Rotan culture and everything around Rotan. This is a MUST excursion, such a great experience. We will be back with our teens in December. The only thing I would suggest is bringing some snacks and water.

Really loved the ATV Excursion this was our first time riding an ATV. Dave and crew made it a great experience. The crew was always assisting with pictures, never making us feel rushed. Being in a new country you never know what to expect but my wife and I felt safe from start to finish. Thanks Dave!! Can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved this excursion. Dave was amazing. We did this with a big group of about 16 family members. We all had a blast and this was everyone’s favorite part of the trip. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and we definitely would do this again.

Our tour guide was great- our trip was so much fun. Punta Gordo, Isla Roatan, Honduras was amazing. The ATVs where easy to operate. The tour guide stopped plenty of times along the way for pictures and water. Highly recommended even with younger children! We also loved that the children came out at the end and wanted to see us as we passed through.

This excursion was one of the best I have ever done! It was so much fun. Dave was super friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite part was seeing the monkeys and the sloths. 10/10 recommend!!

Our family went on the Adventures of Roatan ATV tour today off the Carnival Vista. What an amazing adventure! Our trip was amazing because of Dave. He provided our family with the culture of Roatan. The ATVs were so much fun. Each 0f us enjoyed the ride. Dave rode with our youngest daughter so she thought she was on an adventure of her own. We had a great ride through the jungle, we drove next to the ocean and explored the oldest villages on the island. We visited the sloths and monkeys which was an once and a lifetime experience. We returned to the starting point and returned to the ship on an air conditioned bus. Dave is so fabulous that we have referred him to other family members that are traveling to Roatan in the near future! I can not wait to return and take my family on another adventure ...!

What a super excursion Dave provided us on his ATV’s! He picked us up at the cruise port in a bus with great air conditioning and took us around the island. As he drove he told us some interesting points about Roatan. When we got to the area where the ATV’s were kept he gave us some safety instructions and then we started our adventure. The ATV’s were in great condition and were easy to drive. We got to drive on several kinds of terrain including pavement, mud, rocky trails and shallow water at the edge of the ocean. We stopped a few times to take photos and have a cool drink at a place along the beach. The trail we took was varied and interesting. Dave got us back to the ship in plenty of time to explore the port before time to board the ship. Next time we’d like for him to take us to hold the sloths or maybe do some zip lining. Adventures of Roatan ended up being a great choice for us.

I went on the Adventures of Roatan ATV tour today off the Carnival Vista. What a magnificent adventure! I really got two tours for the price of one since Dave, the tour operator and owner picked us up at the ship’s pier and drove the group from the west side to the east side of Roatan. He provided commentary the entire trip (about 30-40 minutes) about the history and culture of Roatan. After arriving at the ATVs, we enjoyed a stimulating 1.5 hour ATV ride through the jungle, while driving next to the ocean and exploring one of the oldest villages on the island. How exhilarating! Once we returned to the ATV starting point, we jumped into the air conditioned bus for the return trip to the ship. The air conditioner was so cool after the ATV ride, you wanted to curl up and take a nap. Accolades to Dave! Having been born and raised in Roatan, he has a deep understanding of, and love for, the people, history and culture of Roatan. Thank you Dave for sharing your island with us for a few hours.

I was one of the first to take advantage of the great adventure. Dave Bennett is a local and is well known around the island. He is knowledgeable off all the activities and is extremely safety conscience. He and a nephew picked me up at the port in an A/C VAN and transported me to the ATV storage area. He provided a safety helmet and a brief orientation. The ATV was brand new and do easy to ride and navigate. We rode along the trails and backroads of the jungle and along the beach stopping several times for pictures and narrative. I had an absolute blast and felt very safe during this amazing excursion and recommend it highly. BTW, I’m 81 Y/O!
