    Meeting Point

    For this Aruba Barcelo All-Inclusive Day Pass Excursion, you will meet at the front desk at the resort. Taxis are available right outside your Aruba cruise terminal. The ride takes around 10 minutes (the approximate taxi cost is $11.00 for a cab of 4 people, per taxi). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. Taxi cost not included.

     How far is the resort from the Aruba cruise terminal?
    The taxi ride is approximately 10 minutes. Taxis can be found outside your cruise terminal (approximate taxi cost is $11.00 for a cab of 4 people, per taxi).
    Will the A la Carte restaurants be available during my Aruba resort day pass?
    No, the A-la-Carte restaurants are only available during dinner hours (after the day-pass hours).
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Aruba Barcelo Beach Resort All Inclusive Day Pass to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Aruba Barcelo Beach Resort All Inclusive Day Pass,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

We arrived around 10:00 am. Check in was fast but they do ask to keep a copy of everyone’s drivers license. They said someone would greet us outside and show us to chairs. We wondered outside and saw NO staff. Every chair by the pool area was already taken with belongings but no people using them. Guess resort guest get us early to stake their claim. Went to the beach area and again all chairs were taken. There were two staff there but they were arguing about all the people there and who was suppose to put out chairs so my husband ended up finding the stacked chairs and carrying them over to us. The tour description said they had beach service but the entire time we were there we only saw one person taking drink orders and it took over 30 minutes to get that drink. The only bar open was the pool bar with three bartenders. This place was packed so getting drinks was challenging. . The Buffet was OK but nothing special and you had to be dressed to enter the building and it was the only place that was serving food. I understand that everyone is having staffing issues but the staff at this resort seemed very unhappy. Between the arguing beach guys, the grumpy bartenders to the unfriendly towel people no one seemed happy to be working. If you do decide to come make sure you bring a cup for your drinks as they use SMALL little cups mainly full of ice for the drinks. This certainly was not worth the cost and not a resort we would care to visit again.

We were on a cruise and we chose this place for our Day Pass. The resort itself was very beautiful and upscale. Towel service was included. Food was good, drinks were good. Front desk service was great to start out. After snorkeling and swimming for half the day my paper wrist band/bracelet came off in the ocean somewhere. The other 3 family members still had their's but they were no longer sticking. After talking to security about how I lost my bracelet they allowed us past them to the front desk. This is where we met the most unfriendly person ever! Her name was Jenny(manager) and we had explained that my wrist band had fallen off. She initially said that we would all have to pay for new ones! I said that it's not like I lost mine on purpose and it is quite clear that these wrist bands glue was defective or not waterproof. She agreed to replace them for no charge. In the same breath she also said if we lose these we would have to pay for the next ones! My daughter asked if they could staple hers and she said NO and Have a Good Day! You can imagine for the rest of the day we just held are wrists in fear of losing the wrist bands. ABSOLUETLY RIDICULOUS!! By the way we have done numerous Day Passes on our cruises and this is the first time we ever had an issue. All the other day passes resorts use yellow wrist bands (these were blue) and we've never had an issue. Now we paid almost $100 per person and this is the treatment we get? So buyer beware the hospitality from JENNY was absolutely atrocious! All other staff we dealt with were fantastic. Unfortunately, because of Barcelo,s manager we won't be back. We will spend our hard earned American dollars elsewhere.

The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The drinks were mostly made with house liquor, but were very strong and very good. The food was buffet style and had a ton of options. Everyone in our group found plenty to eat that was all very good. The beach was very nice and the hotel staff on the beach were accommodating and found you sun/shade in whatever area of the beach you preferred. The pool was gorgeous and loved the swim up bar! The only thing I would have changed was for transportation to be included, but, it wasn't difficult to find our own taxis.

Have been to Aruba numerous times at resorts or by cruise ship so decided on a day pass at the Barcelo Occidental Grand in Aruba .... they have a beautiful pool & beach area with many lounge chairs.....also included breakfast or lunch & drinks ....I did the lunch which was great ....lots of variety on the buffet ..... Had a fantastic time there ....

This is probably the best excursion I picked for our cruise! We had an absolutely perfect and relaxing day! The pool is fantastic with a swim up bar, pristine beach with shaded chairs. We gave the beach server $20 and asked him to keep the drinks coming for our group and boy did he ever keep them coming! Highly recommend this excursion as it includes a breakfast and lunch buffet as well as drinks and alcohol!

This was absolutely one of our favorite excursions ever! The resort was well maintained and very clean! Beach area had plenty of chairs, towels were provided! The food at the Buffett for breakfast and lunch was delicious and they had a variety. Very good quality of food. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an all-inclusive resort day!

There is long walk to get to the pools & beach but it is totally worth it! the resort is beautiful. Very clean & safe. The lunch provided was excellent & plentiful. The drinks were perfect for us. Plenty of shady loungers by the pool & beach. The beach was a bit rough but there was a hurricane that had just passed. it made for a nice day away from the crowds & there were not many young children screaming & running around.

First cruise ever, and Aruba was our last destination. I just wanted to relax somewhere nice after so much exploring. Unfortunately I did not plan ahead of time...Luckily, Shore Excursioneer helped with last minute booking to Occidental. Went on there site and found many options in Aruba I just wanted to relax. So we booked All Inclusive for 2 (and also parasailing). We took a taxi, checked in, and we choosed a nice area by pool. The resort is beautiful, clean, spacious. The staff is attentive. The food was more than great! They have so may options we never go hungry. It beach front so the view is beautiful and relaxing. Weather was perfect. This is what I wanted to do before heading back home. I also book parasailing (see my review on that one!) and they have other rentals if you are in the mood.

We loved this all-day pass at the Barcelo so much in 2016 that we booked it again this year when we would be in port again. The day was wonderful - same fabulous grounds, decent buffet, friendly staff and beautiful beach. There were a couple of hiccoughs this time, unfortunately. The front-desk staff did not have the wrist bands, told us to wait for 30 minutes and, when we checked back, told us they had been forgotten. That meant that every time we wanted something, we had to dig into our bag to find the receipt to prove that we had paid for the day pass. That also meant we lost 30 minutes out of our day to sit and wait at the beginning. As well, once we were on the beach, we were told that the Barcelo no longer has a beach bar. While the server was willing to get us drinks from the pool bar, it was not the same and would have been a hassle for us to get drinks ourselves. Also, the palapas are reserved for "hotel guests" and specific families. It makes it hard to get out of the strong Caribbean sun when you are there all day. All in all, a great day: beautiful grounds, fabulous beach and friendly staff. But the hiccoughs may be enough to have us looking at alternatives for next time. The beach and buffets, however, may draw us back.

Booked the Barcelo Occidental through ShoreExcursioneer without any problems. As this was our first time to Aruba, I didn't know what to expect but as it turned out this was the best excursion on our cruise. The taxi ride cost $14 each way for the 4 of us. We arrived at the resort around 9:30, check in was fast and we were on the beach by 9:45. There were plenty of available loungers at the pool and we had no problem finding loungers with umbrellas at the beach. The beach is clean and the water is very clear and calm. Perfect for swimming and floating. The buffet was amazing with plenty of food. Drinks and beer were very good. I will plan another trip to this resort again.

The resort is a short cab ride from port $14 one way for 5. Check in was easy and friendly in no time we were on our way to breakfast. The food was excellent, much better than other resorts for a day we have visited. The grounds are clean and well kept. The staff was friendly. The provided towels at the pool. The pool was clean and relaxing. The beach had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The swim up bar was quick but did not have many drinks and what they had was not very good. (watered down pina coladas). I would recommend this resort and would return.

All inclusive liquor and beer. Real nice pool and beach. Had no problem finding loungers and chairs. The food was very good with lots of options. My complaint is unrestricted smoking is allowed anywhere outside at the beach and pool. There are ashtrays everywhere with no non smoking areas designated. For this reason I would not go back. Not only do I dislike the smell but I have a chronic Lung Disease and must avoid smokers and other fumes.

we went here last year in November and it was so much fun! we had an absolute ball!! I told my boyfriend we must do this excursion again! the pool? marvelous! the pool bar? fabulously wicked good! the drinks? a total blast! the food at the restaurant? scrumptious! the beach? absolute most! will be coming back to Aruba in January and we will be back here again! can't wait to book it!

Iguanas Everywhere!!

The pool was really fun nice party and music but what I enjoyed the most was seeing the Iguanas just everywhere, they were walking around just like they were staying at the resort. They were so funny, just as stiff as can be then they'd move and you know it was real. The taxi was quick and pretty straightforward, about 12.00 dollars each way. Everything seemed clean and neat bathroom and changing areas were clean. The food in the buffets was really good lot of variety, drinks were a little strong, but if you do get a drink get it fresh made not from the frozen drink machine it was gross. Beach was really fun with the floaters, but no umbrellas. Cabanas only for resort guest and all the visitor beach chairs are way in the back. Luckily we found some chair right under a group of palm trees so we were shaded most of the time. Overall had a good time.

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME IN ARUBA AND MY BOYFRIEND AND I HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST HERE. THE POOL WAS WONDERFUL AND THE BAR WAS EVEN MORE FUN! THE DRINKS WERE GREAT AND THE FOOD WAS PHENOMINAL. I WILL BE REBOOKING THIS FOR MY NEXT CRUISE ON THE CARNIVAL CONQUEST FOR JANUARY OF NEXT YEAR!! OUTSTANDING EXCURSION!!! I WILL RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS!

After getting off ship took taxi, to hotel, went into lobby to the desk. Paid, then was told there were no more wrist bands so had to keep receipt on person (4 of us) she pointed to the beach told to have a nice day. Went to beach there was no one to ask about chaise lounges or talapas. Found out that all talapas were reserved for hotel guests. So on to find umbrella. 20 min later found a worker got a tent for $20. Found no waiters on beach so went back to pool found a bar, showed receipt got drinks went back to beach. No waiters showed so always had to go to pool bar. Husband likes Bud lite, he couldn't have that, it's for hotel guests only. No food allowed on beach so went to find food, finally found security guard pointed us in right direction. Nice buffet, but had to eat in pairs to leave someone on beach to watch stuff. We did Mr Snachos' 3 days earlier $35 less a person had our own talapa and waiter that brought us anything we wanted at any time, was always right there. I guess I expected more from this high end resort. Silly me.

Arrived in Aruba for the day from the Navigator of the Seas. The resort was a great option for us which included use of all the facilities, lounge chairs, towels, non motorized water sports, food and drinks. The staff at the resort were very friendly and you were treated as if you were staying with them for the week. We took the public transit bus right outside the cruise terminal, super easy 15 minute bus ride (bus 10) cost was $5.00 usd return trip each or $10.00 usd for all day pass.

We started our day off here early. The breakfast buffet was very good, a lot to choose from, something for everyone. We then made our way out to the pool/beach area where chairs were rather hard to come by. The beach and the pool area get crowded very early, though many chairs were simply being reserved by towels, no one around for hours to actually use the chairs. The lunch was good, the bars were great and plenty of water sports to choose from. Overall, we would spend the day here again, just be prepared to fight for space.

This was one of the shore excursions that we purchased while cruising this last Spring. We were very pleased with this all inclusive day pass. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The resort grounds and beach are clean and the food was very, very good as well. Very impressed.

Do this excursion if you have the chance - you will not regret it. We cruised to Aruba a couple of months ago and booked their all inclusive package with Shore Excursioneer.com. Dealing with those people was easy and simple. We checked in at the resort and the day went perfect from there. Everyone was so nice and we were treated as a real guest just not a cruise ship visitor. Some of the best food we had the entire vacation and way better than what we were served on the ship. We would recommend this to anyone - book online with these guys and you will not be sorry!

For our cruise to Aruba we wanted to do an all-inclusive beach day. We found this excursion online and it sounded perfect. The trips that the ship offered were much more expensive and we really wanted to get away from the crowds. The taxi ride was really quick. When we got to the resort, the checkin was quick. They had our names, we paid the balance and we had the whole property for the day. We split the day between the pool and the beach. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. I would really like to come back and stay at the Occidental for a longer vacation. It was a great day!
