    For the St. Maarten Beach Bum Combo to Orient and Maho Beach, you will meet right at your St. Maarten Cruise Terminal (Philipsburg) or the St. Martin Cruise Terminal (Marigot). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.


    What is included?

    Excursion Notes
      • Bring along sun protection, swimsuit, change of clothes, towel, camera, and cash for souvenirs, drinks, snacks, shopping, etc.
      • Guests will be at Maho Beach in time to see the planes come in for a landing.
      • If guests wish to stay downtown and return to the ship on their own it is about a 15-minute walk or 4-minute water taxi ride.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • Please advise in advance if any guests have collapsible wheelchairs or walkers so transportation can be arranged.
    • Note that the beaches are not wheelchair accessible due to the sand.

    For the St. Maarten Orient and Maho Beaches Excursion - Beach Bum Combo,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Was raining but still better then the weather back home. River took us to a different beach as Orient beach was rough. Beach was beautiful and not crowded and tons of sea glass to find! Maho was crowded but to be expected

Orient beach was filled with seaweeds so maybe it was a bad time of the year for that, didn’t get in the water because of the seaweed, the water was very rough.. However with ideal conditions it would be a very nice place to relax. Maho beach was fun , because of the Airplane traffic and the over experience. The water was much cleaner but still rough and crowded. I enjoyed the experience a must see if visiting the island.

My husband and I went on this excursion March 28th, 2018. We had the best time. the beaches were great and our driver/host, was even better. I had the pleasure of going on this tour last week (July 5, 2016) while on my cruise vacation with RCCL. At first I was a bit nervous to book at 3rd party excursion but the price was right and we got everything we hoped for. First our driver was amazing! He was very informative about the island and really made the bus ride fun. The Caribe's helped too! This excursion is excellent for someone who wants beach time and to see the planes on Maho Beach. It's a nice combo. Maho Beach is def a must see at least once while visiting the island but know it's a very busy beach and hard to really get a good spot to relax. Orient Beach the water is very clear and you can purchase 2 chairs for about $10, a welcome drink and wifi. It was a nice combo.

We had a wonderful time of this excursion. Our tour guide was fun, informative and friendly. Maho Beach was amazing, not only was watching the planes cool but the water on the beach was crystal clear and gorgeous! We had a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed it. Our cruise came in late in the day and Shore Excursioneer worked with our schedule to arrange a late excursion. We could not have asked for more it was a perfect trip. This was our 4th booking with SE and will continue to use them when cruising!

This was our second trip to St. Marteen, and we wanted to see both of these famous beaches. We were there on a day with six ships in port, so everywhere was extremely crowded. This tour had its pros & cons. First, we had problems finding the meeting point. We were there twenty minutes early and saw no guides. A security guard happened to ask us if we needed help and gave us new directions, otherwise we would have missed our tour. Second, our guide must have been filling in since it was so busy, because although he was very nice, he sometimes was kind of guessing throughout the day. Orient Beach was not as grand as we were hoping. We got dropped off at a bar where they rented chairs for $5. We said no thanks but they wouldn't even let us sit on a towel in the area, so we just walked around. The waves are too strong here for snorkeling, so eventually we got bored and went elsewhere. We found an amazing French bakery, and the guide provided plenty of drinks all day, so we had a lovely culinary experience instead. By the time we got to Maho Beach, it was standing room only, but we knew it was going to be a busy day on the island before we booked. Both little and big planes land about every fifteen minutes, which was really fun. Know that the waves are strong here too. If you want an easy day seeing both beaches, we would recommend this tour because we found no other like it. If you're searching for something unique or adventurous, search again.

I will say, we enjoyed everything about this tour and the beaches. Two kids parasailed for $80.00 (not sure if that's good or not, they just wanted to try it). The waves made Orient Beach fun. It does not get deep for quite a while so kids can safely enjoy the waves. The place was very clean, with showers to rinse off in. The chairs and umbrellas were great. The driver was informative, fun and very accommodating to our needs. We had a small group with a family my kids loved. That's it, eleven of us. The pick up and return to the dock was timely and easy. Everyone should experience Maho Beach. Wife didn't like the noise and crowds but it was so fun and funny to watch nuts from around the world along the runway. Our entire family seemed to get an endless supply of pop, water and beer on this tour. Sorry I can't remember the guides name. He deserves a raise! Our driver was a perfect '10'. I got bored and went into the casino where he parked and won his tip. I could have spent more time in this area. Very fun, but that's a separate vacation not just a cruise stop. Great day.

Just came back and this was our first time booking something outside of Carnival. The trip was worth more than what we were charged. Our bus driver and tour guide Eddie Miller was outstanding as he was informative and hilarious. The first stop was Orient Beach and it was beautiful. The place where we stopped charged $10 for 2 chairs and an umbrella but everyone received a complimentary drink. Maho beach was everything it was advertised with the planes. We had to do the fence grab on a big jets take off, unbelievable. The trip also included beer, pop, water, and rum punch. I would do this trip again without a moments hesitation.

We wanted to take this tour because we wanted to see these famous beaches and the price was perfect. We rented a jet ski and had a great time on it. Maho is amazing. The planes land directly over the beach, and in the afternoon you get to see the big planes land. There was a nice place to eat and have drinks right at the beach. We would love to go back and do this again. Advanced warning about Orient...there is a nude side! But there are signs posted so there is no "accidentally" wandering into that side :)
