    For this Ketchikan Zipline Adventure, you will meet your local excursion guide right in the Ketchikan cruise pier area. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.


    What is included?
    • Pickup and drop off right from the cruise ship pier area in Ketchikan Alaska
    • English-speaking and trained Ketchikan Bear Creek Zipline Shore Excursion guides
    • Safety and canopy zip line orientation
    • All the equipment required for zipping and rappelling
    • Snack - Hot chocolate, tea, coffee, smoked salmon dip on cracker, cookies.
    Excursion Notes
      • The zip line course is located on the side of a hill so there are steps and steep inclines at the base camp.
      • There are approximately 300 steps over the course of the zip line.
      • Restrooms are located near the suit-up area.
      • Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if the requirements are not met.
      • We recommend wearing layers with the top layer being waterproof.
      • Please wear sensible walking/hiking shoes that may get wet.
      • We suggest you have cash on hand for refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum height requirement is 60in (152cm) and the weight is 80lbs (36Kg).
    • Maximum weight limit is 250lbs (113Kg).
    • Minors must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
    • Full use of arms and legs is required.
    • Pregnant women and guests with injuries/seizure disorders are not allowed to participate.
    • All guests will be required to fill out a waiver.

    Will they cancel the Ketchikan Rainforest Zipline, Skybridge, and Rappel Excursion Adventure if it rains?
    The excursion operates rain or shine, within safety guidelines. The local canopy zip line shore excursion operator will decide at the time of departure, to postpone or cancel the excursion. If canceled, a full refund will be granted.
    Will I see wildlife on this excursion in Ketchikan Alaska?
    Although there is no guarantee of seeing animals in the wild, the area visited on this shore excursion is well known for animal sightings. 
    If I do not want to zip, can I just watch?
    Unfortunately, the zip lines go through dense forests on the side of a hill. There are no good vantage spots for watching.
    Is the Ketchikan Rainforest Zipline, Skybridge, and Rappel Excursion Adventure strenuous?
    You need full use of your arms and legs on this Ketchikan excursion as you will be walking up steep hills, steps, zipping, and rappelling.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Ketchikan Rainforest Zipline, Skybridge, and Rappel Excursion Adventure to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Ketchikan Rainforest Zipline, Skybridge, and Rappel Excursion Adventure, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 4 days prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

My last cruise was full of new experiences; the zip line and this kind of adventures was the best option to do it. I have only good comments about the staff, the equipment, and the organization for the excursion. OMG the sky bridge.

Our first cruise, our first time in Alaskan territory and our first time zip lining! We had an amazing time zip lining. If you have the opportunity to visit Alaska do not miss out! I thought it would be really cold and nothing much to see but my expectations were exceeded! The people are so nice here and the guides are the best! It was more than zip lining we learned so much and just loved it here! We booked 3 different excursions through Shore Excursioneer and were all fantastic!

This has been by far one of the best excursions I have experienced and the staff had a lot to do with it, the guides are very professional and caring. It is a great way of spending your day in Ketchikan, we enjoyed beautiful landscapes and felt like we were flying on those ziplines. Looking forward to booking more excursions with Shore Excursioneer and saving money while exploring more ports!
