Nassau has some of the best dive spots to explore. This is your chance to see what SCUBA diving is about with one of the world's finest dive companies. This excursion is for those participants with no dive experience. We offer a 2-tank certified dive also - see similar excursions below.
You will meet your friendly shore excursion guide and transportation right outside your Nassau cruise terminal. You will take a 35-minute drive to the dive center located at the southwestern end of the island. The English speak staff at the dive shop will get you checked in and pass out your gear. Only the top of the line equipment is used and everything is less than 2 years old! There are wetsuits to rent at an extra cost if you want one.
Your discover beginners dive cruise excursion begins with your instructor going over the classroom portion of the excursion. You will learn about the dive equipment, the basic principles of diving, and what you can expect for your day ahead.
Your instructor will lead you out to the shallow beach area where you will put on the gear and practice with the equipment and your dive skills. When you feel comfortable with the skills and equipment, your dive instructor will take you to the dive boat for the second part of the excursion.
The warm Caribbean water off Nassau has a variety of dive sites with a lot to see and as the boat motors to the shallow reef for your dive, the instructor will go over everything with you.
The beauty of living right below the surface is amazing. Your dive will be approximately 30 minutes and at a maximum depth of about 30ft. Expect Mother Nature to wow you! When your dive is completed, the divemaster will help you back to the boat where you can relax.
Fresh bottled water will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own snacks.
The boat will return you to the dive center. The transportation will return you to your Nassau cruise terminal.
