    What happens if I miss my excursion departure because the ship arrives late?
    You may be able to reschedule, just proceed to the meeting site or call us on the hotline number.
    Is this a private excursion?
    No but the maximum per vehicle is typically limited to only 8 participants.  
    Is the Best of Cozumel Island Highlights Excursion canceled if it is raining?
    This excursion can be operated in rain or shine, most of the rain is just temporary and the sun comes out again after 5 minutes.
    May I take this Best of Cozumel Highlights Excursion if my mobility is limited?
    Yes, as long as you can walk a few meters and get on board the transportation.
    May I take this excursion if I'm confined to a wheelchair or scooter?
    Yes, please contact us so we can make special arrangements at no extra cost.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Best of Cozumel Island Highlights Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Best of Cozumel Island Highlights Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Great tour of the island Smithville

Great tour. We got to see what we wanted at the pace we chose,. Freddy is a very, well informed guide. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and gave us a good picture of life on the island. I definitely recommend this excursion.

Fredy was amazing and toured us the whole island of Cozumel! He stopped where we wanted to stop and took us to places he thought we would enjoy. He even picked us up at the cruise ship dock where he doesn’t typically pickup and provided a car seat for my infant son. I highly recommend doing this tour and you will be so lucky if you get Fredy!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour. The guide, Freddy, is very friendly and flexible. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. My only suggestion is to get a general idea of the places you would like to visit in advance. He will make sure it happens. We did the tequila factory then headed over to Punta Sur. Punta Sur is about a 40 minute drive from port. He took us to see the crocodiles and light house at Punta Sur. Then we visited a beach club for lunch. After Punta Sur he dropped us off close to port for some shopping. Also, this is a great deal! Only $35 per person for a private guide/van. Bring extra cash for tips and admission to Punta Sur (if you plan to visit). This was hands down my favorite Cozumel excursion yo date. I will book again when we return. THANK YOU TO FREDDY FOR BEING SO HOSPITABLE!

Freddy was the best tour guide ever. He took us to lots of places. Airport, Military base, Catholic Church, Tequila tasting, plus lots of stops for pictures, lunch. Shopping area with cheap prices. We weren’t interested in beach break so that was fine with him. Will request Freddy next trip.

We took this tour with myself, my husband and our 3 teens. Our guide Fredy was very accommodating and told us a lot of interesting info about the island. He was so kind and funny and made it a very relaxing tour. We hit all of the spots promised on the description when we booked and Fredy also took us to a few extra spots and did his best to please all of the age groups in the vehicle. He had us back to the cruise port in plenty of time to do some more shopping and get back on the ship in time. The only hiccup was that Fredy had to pick up some people who weren't on the cruise but staying on the island and that delayed his pickup to us by about 20 minutes but he was very apologetic and it didn't shorten our tour at all so we didn't mind. We recommend this if you're looking for an easy relaxing day, not too much walking and learning more about Cozumel!

I am really happy with you guys offering such great tours. Our family and I took the Best of Cozumel and Freddie was our guide, he was awesome, very friendly, fluid English speaker. He made this tour awesome and he allow us to customize the stops, so we saw what we were interested to see. We did the Chocolate factory, tequila tour, the main venue and also have time to go around the other side of the island for beach time. Thumbs up for Freddie and Shore Excursioneer.

Freddie was our driver, and he was outstanding. From the time he picked us up, until he returned us to our ship, he was our private driver. He took us to several of his recommended sites, and allowed us to direct him to anywhere we wanted to go. He took us to an outstanding restaurant for lunch that was right on the beach. I would recommend this tour for anybody wanting to see this island.

Freddie was our driver and he spoke good English and was very informative. He made us laugh and took us anywhere we wanted to go with plenty of leisure time. Enjoyed this tour and appreciated Freddie waiting with a sign at Senior Frog and dropping us right back at our cruise ship when we asked. We did have to take an $8.00 taxi ride to get to Senior Frog to begin the tour.

Once we debarked off of the Carnival Paradise, we were taxied to Señor Frogs. Fredy was right there waiting for the six of us. He was very accommodating. He started the van as we used the banos, got it cool and began the tour. He showed us everything we could've ever imagined. From the tequila tasting, to the presidential palace, to the Air Force, and to the Mayan ruins, he was awesome. He went out of his way to even help me get a passport stamp, but immigration told us no souvenir stamps issued. Fredy tried. I highly recommend the excursion and hope you get Fredy as your local guide. You'll love him. We did! Mark - West Virginia, USA

This was a great way to see Cozumel when we stopped on a cruise. We booked it a few weeks in advance and the driver was waiting exactly where our instructions said. Everything was handled perfectly and there were no surprises. We had never been to Cozumel and enjoyed what we saw. Our driver was wonderful and his English was almost fluent. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a safe and reliable sightseeing excursion of the island.

We had a small group and that was perfect. In our van, there were only 6 of us. The ship tour was on big buses - so glad we did not do that! Our guide spoke fluent English with hardly an accent. He told us alot about the island and the history of the Mayans. We had a brief rain shower during the tour but it passed so quickly it did not matter. I would defiantly like to spend more time in Cozumel some day.

A good way to see the island of Cozumel. My friends and I enjoyed this a lot. There were 5 in our group - my two friend and myself along with 2 other people from another ship. It seems all of us choose this tour because we had been on those crowded tour buses with the ship excursions in the past. Our driver was so nice and his English was flawless. He was waiting right outside the cruise terminal for us. The van was clean and the air conditioning was nice. He showed us many sights along the route and took our photos at each stop. He even showed one of my friends where to buy the type of hammock he had been looking for.

This was a very nice way to see the island on our last cruise. I have never been to Cozumel and enjoyed it. I was a little nervous about booking a tour that was not with the cruise ship but I had nothing to worry about. I am planning my next cruise and will book another tour with them.
