    Meeting Point

    For the Grand Turk Private Resort Beach Day Excursion, you will meet directly at the Beach Resort after a 15-minute taxi ride (approx. round trip taxi cost is $16.00 USD per person). There are plenty of taxis available at the Grand Turk cruise terminal as well as at the resort for your return. All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Notes
      • You are free to come and leave at any time, the beach opening hours are from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM local Grand Turk time.
      • We recommend that you bring your swimsuit, sun protection, towels, camera, and cash for taxis, drinks, tips, etc.
      • Guests may not use the swimming pool or any of the facilities inside the resort. There is seperate hotel guest and day guest areas.
      • Note that walk-up guests are not allowed and all reservations must be booked in advance. There is a limited number of spaces available per day.
      • There are no child or infants prices for this excursion. All participants pay the same rate.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old.
    • This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
    • This is not available as a walk-in sale. Space is very limited depending on the resort bookings. Note that we offer 3 packages at Bohio. Please book the one that suits you best as there cannot be any substitutions onsite from one package to another.
    Frequently Asked Questions
    I'm allergic to seafood, Can I have a different lunch served?
    Yes, your lunch will be prepared by the resort chef, please mention any dietary allergy upon arrival and he will be glad to prepare something delicious for you.
    Is snorkel equipment available at the beach?
    Yes, snorkel gear can be rented for $20.00 USD per person. There are also kayaks $20.00 USD for 1-hour or paddle boards $30.00 USD for 1-hour rental.
    How far is the resort from the cruise terminal?
    The taxi ride takes around 10 to 15 minutes. Taxis can be found outside your cruise terminal (approximate taxi cost is $8.00 USD per person, one way).
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Grand Turk Bohio Beach Resort Day Pass Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Grand Turk Bohio Beach Resort Day Pass Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

We had a great experience visiting Bohio. Our day was excellent, the beach was clean with plenty of space to take the sun, lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. The service was awesome, they went above and beyond, would highly recommend!

From the start to the end of the excursion, this was perfect. It was easy to find the taxi area to take us to the beach club. The price came out to be $34.00 total round trip for the both of us (we asked at the port, one driver wanted more but the second driver was fair). We had our printed eticket and got checked in quickly. The day was so relaxing. The waitstaff were all pleasant and the food and drinks good. The beach and grounds were spotless! My only complaint was that our day went by so quickly. It would be easy to spend a few vacation days here.

This was a great excursion. We had to get a taxi to and from on our dime but that was not a biggie. The people at the resort (which is a very small resort, but I liked that) could have been a little more friendly and attentive. Had to go to the bar and order drinks and they were PRICEY in my opinion. A bucket of 6 Miller Lites was $42! The water was absolutely perfect in every way though. The beach was nice and had plenty of chairs for everyone. I would most likely do this again, just wish the couple of things could have been a bit better.

Took a taxi out to their resort. It was postcard beautiful. It was quiet and not rowdy like the beach by the cruise pier. The sand is white powder. We were given lounge chairs but towels are $10 a day to rent. Take your cruise ship towels. We were only offered burgers during our visit. They were tasty. There is a lot of beautiful coral to be found along the beach.

The bohio is set on a gorgeous, sandy beach and is very quiet and secluded resort. The trip exceeded our expectations. The food was very tasty and all the staff was friendly, we really enjoyed the day.

The ride there was short. We found a perfect spot at the beach. We're able to snorkel around on the beach and saw some starfish, pretty shells and a conch. My husband purchased one of their cigars and enjoyed it out by the beach. It was a nice day away from the crowd and noise of the cruise ship.
