      • We recommend you wear hiking or closed shoes to walk in uneven and sharp rocks.
      • Please wear your swimsuit under your clothes, bring a towel, sun protection, cash for tips, etc.
      • Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if the requirements are not met.

    • Basic swimming skills are needed.
    • This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility, guests with joint or back problems, or pregnant women.
    • Please take note that the ride may be bumpy.
    • Please leave valuables on the ship (credit cards, passports, big cameras). The vehicle will be unattended during the hiking and snorkeling portion of the excursion.

    Are restrooms available?
    Yes, at the beginning and end of the excursion.
    Are we able to swim at the natural jacuzzi?
    No, the natural jacuzzi is too shallow. You can stand in the water and if the wind is on your side, you would get a nice shower.
    Is the vehicle covered?
    Yes, there is a covered roof but the sides are open so everyone should use sun protection.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Breath of Curacao Safari Sightseeing Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Breath of Curacao Safari Sightseeing Excursion , we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

This excursion was wonderful. We saw and learned a lot about the Island. Our tour guide was informative. The stops along the way were amazing although the ride can be bumpy at times so be prepared.

This was an awesome excursion, once in a lifetime! We got some fantastic photos and videos. We were two of six people on the excursion; which is so much better than the packed excursions offered by the cruise line. Alan was a great guide and made sure we enjoyed the day. He made a few stops not mentioned in the description, as he is proud of his island and wanted us to experience everything that makes it special. Thanks for such a wonderful memory!

Let me preface this review by saying that we did enjoy this excursion. Long, our tour guide, was very good and knowledgeable. The sites were absolutely stunning and worth the bumpy ride. If you are prone to motion sickness or have a bad back, this is NOT the excursion for you. The ride is a pick up truck with padded benches and it is VERY off road so extremely bumpy. My back hurt for several days afterwards and I was extremely motion sick even though I'm not prone to it. The views were worth the bumpy ride, but I would probably not do this excursion again.

We were on a cruise ship and pick up was easy. Our guide Alan picked us up promptly and we took off on a grand adventure. It was a small group. I highly recommend this experience. Riding in the safari truck was fun because you could see everything. Boka Pistol was really cool but be ready because it is so much louder than you expect. Just a great day.
