Spend an action-packed day on lovely St. Lucia with this Catamaran Cruise and Buggy Adventure. Drive island buggies along the coast to Soufriere with stops for memorable photos. Visit Toraille Waterfall and the Drive-in volcano. Then on to Morne Coubaril Estate for a delicious local lunch and guided walk. Complete the day with a catamaran cruise and even some swimming and snorkeling.
After meeting your guide at your St. Lucia's cruise port, you will board your comfortable transportation for a short scenic drive to the west coast of St. Lucia. Depending on the size of the group that day your catamaran will range between 45' and 80'. Your destination will be Marigot Bay (home to mega yachts and a location for many movies such as Superman 2 and Dr. Doolittle) where your catamaran awaits you for your adventure. Your captain and crew will welcome you onboard, settle in and relax.
As the catamaran cruises down the shoreline, you'll see the sleepy fishing villages of Anse La Raye and Canaries before arriving in Soufriere, home of the majestic Pitons - two mountainous volcanic spires named Gros and Petit Piton (Big and Little). Your guide will take you along a scenic path through the rainforest to the Toraille Waterfall, where you can take a refreshing swim in the cool waters. Next see the Drive-in Volcano where you can choose a guided walk of the Sulfur springs or take a therapeutic mud bath, which utilizes the geothermally-heated hot water from the stream.
Your next stop is Morne Coubaril, an 18th Century plantation that still today produces cocoa, coffee, and copra. Your guide will walk you through the estate and explain a little bit of history about it. Have your camera ready, since the Estate has very unique views of the bay. Having this beautiful scenery, you will enjoy a Local Creole buffet Lunch that may include stew chicken, fried fish, salad, chow mein, seasonal fruits or vegetables, and locally baked bread. Lunch will be approximately 45 minutes.
After your well-deserved break, you will head to the Soufriere docks where you'll be given safety instructions for your next adventure. Jump into your Island Buggy for a thrilling ride to the North along the coast. Please note all buggies are manual transmission. These 2 seater buggies are a lot of fun to drive! Once the group is set, buckle up and strap in! You will follow the guide down the coastal roadway for a very scenic drive. You will even stop for a swim in one of the many beautiful beaches in St. Lucia for a relaxing beach break (approximately 40 minutes). Your total driving time is approximately 1-1.5 hours.
As your day comes to an end, you will continue driving your buggy until you arrive at your St. Lucia's cruise terminal. Bring all your energy for this amazing day and have fun! Please note that the order of activities may be reversed.
