    The meeting point for this Roatan Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Excursion is just outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Mahogany Bay). All necessary information is included on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

      • We suggest you bring a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, waterproof camera, cash for tips, additional purchases, etc
      • Transportation is not included, the operator offers R/T transportation service for $15.00 USD per adult, and $10.00 USD per child. Transportation time is approximately 30 minutes.
      • Please consider the maximum capacity of this catamaran is 25 guests.

    • Guests should know how to swim and be comfortable in the water.
    • This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
    • Guests will use a ladder to climb in and out of the water from the catamaran.

    Actually, the taxi cost is $15.00 USD per person but one way so you would end up paying double if you took a regular taxi versus prearranged driver.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Roatan Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Roatan Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

The captain and his first mate were excellent. All total there were only 9 people on the catamaran, including me and my son and the crew. The captain was extremely friendly. As we sailed along, they pointed out turtles swimming. The reef is absolutely beautiful. Of all of the places I've visited, this is my favorite snorkel spot. After leaving the reef, the captain took us to an area for the kids to dive and swing off of a rope swing. The kids in the group had a blast, as did I. This was a perfect day for us! Will definitely book again on future trips!

This was a perfect day with our family on Roger's Cat. Roger was a great host and captain. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great ride, awesome snorkeling and swimming. Food was real good too.

This excursion exceeded our expectations. The driver picked us up from the road right down the road from the port. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the island, and drove us up to the hotel (the captain) keeps his catamaran. We boarded the catamaran, and (he) took us past the reef where it got very wavy. Kids sat up front on the netting, where the waves splashed them as we went over them, which was fun for them. Once we got past the rougher waters, we went past the dolphin enclosure and to the barrier reef where we snorkeled. The water was just gorgeous. (He) provided full face masks which were great for snorkeling. We saw beautiful schools of fish, conch shells, and much more. Rum punch for the adults, and hawaiian punch for the kids + spicy plantains for snacks. We got back 2 hours before we needed to board. Well worth the money, and highly recommend for all cruisers!!!

This was the BEST excursion I've ever experienced in my life!! R #1 they don't overbook and you get to actually enjoy your experience! #2 roger went above and beyond to make every moment special.. from the plantins, cold drinks, custom snorkel equipment to the rum punch! He even put the sail up for us so we could experience that! Marvin was great as well.. he was the one who took us in the water as our snorkel guide. He took the time to point out the beautiful under water creations and creatures. I felt very secure with these two and will definitely be booking with them again in the near future! My son decided against snorkeling and roger stayed on the boat with him while we snorkeled. He didn't try to pressure him to get in. Once we finished snorkeling he took us to an amazing swimming spot (which my son finally got in the water), by the dolphin resort and then the beach. Roger even called our taxi and had her meet us at the beach to pick us up. Honestly I felt like royalty while onboard as everything was focused on our satisfaction. Roger sir you have by far surpassed my expectations of anything I ever dreamed this experience could be!!! I could never thank you enough! This trip was absolutely worth every single penny. Our guide, (the captain) was beyond fantastic!! Even though the weather did not cooperate, the trip was fantastic!!! (He) is so knowledgeable and so much fun. After stopping at two stops for BEAUTIFUL snorkeling, we had rum punch and plantains. The catamaran ride and scenery were worth the whole trip and add to that the gorgeous snorkeling and the day was perfect. The transportation was smooth and easy and locals in Roatan are so friendly. I booked another trip to Roatan and will definitely be going on this excursion again! If you love snorkeling and want a good time - book this excursion. You will not regret it!! (He) makes this trip so worth it - trust me!! P.S. He has top-notch snorkeling equipment on his catamaran, so if you don't want to drag your own stuff around, you don't have to.

Great tour. They pick you up at the port. On the ticket it says pick up time is their local time. We got to the check in port a hour early and the driver took us to meet the tour guide. The driver stays at the dock until you get back. The tour person who takes you into the water was great. He showed us around. We were in the water for a hour or so. Then went to another stop to swim for a hour. Then had drinks on the boat. The person who was sailing the boat was great also. We had a blast. We love going with the locals. Very fun tour. It was very safe to go with the locals. Made us feel safe.

Fabulous Personal Sailing and Snorkeling Experience! A Must Do!

(This) is a must do when visiting Roatan! (The crew) were professional friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The Catamaran was just the right size, not too big and not too small. We chose (them) for a low-key -- chill-out experience and to get away from the touristy excursions that the cruise ship offered. There were four couples including us on this sailing - and that's what we enjoyed the most, small group, mid-size cat, and peaceful. (They) provided the right sized mask, fins, and life jackets. He even had extra sun-screen... He Provided safety instructions at the very beginning, and Marvin was our in-water snorkeling tour guide. After about a 30 minute water tour through Sandy Bay, we were in the water snorkeling on the West End Wall...for approx. 45 minutes. We experienced a beautiful reef and reef wall with lots of local colorful fish. (They) made everyone comfortable provided interesting antidotes about the area and world-wide sailing adventures -- we loved it! After snorkeling we had excellent local rum punch and local chips. Then we had another 30-45 minute open sailing adventure. We really enjoyed this experience. Our Sail and Snorkel excursion, dropped us off beachside at a local hotel where our mini-bus was waiting for us. We highly recommend (this excursion) and will be back when we visit Roatan again!

Roger was an absolutely awesome host. We did not know what to expect nor how many people may be on the boat but, it just happened to be only my wife, son and I. We had a wonderful time. This was my sons first time snorkeling on a reef and he was smiling from ear to ear. Snacks were good, drinks were cold. Was nice to sail around, had dolphins leading the way for a bit while we saw some of the island. Thanks again Roger! We will see you again very soon!

The weather was a little cloudy but that didn't stop us from having a great time. My kids said this way the best excursion they have been on and that saying a lot. We have snorkeled and snuba in Cozumel. Stingrays in Caymen. But they loved this more. Thanks Roger and Ricky for the awesome memories.

We would recommend this tour to anyone who likes to snorkel. We got to see some really beautiful fish, large and small. Some of the fish are so brightly colored they look almost electric. The catamaran is very nice and clean and easy to get on and off of. As I am getting older, I need a little extra help on the ladder and the crew was glad to give me a hand. We enjoyed drinks and sailing afterwards. Totally perfect day.
