Is there a weight limit for cave tubing shore excursions in Belize?
If you can walk, you can go cave tubing. We have large tubes for heavier guests. The suggested maximum weight is 360 pounds for cave tubing. It's easier to ride on a tube than walk. Heavy people may need to go slower or have their tubes carried. The guides are very happy to assist you.

What is the water temperature on the cave tube excursion?
The water is refreshing, around 70 to 74 degrees, and it stays about the same year-round. It is a great refreshment when you have been hiking on a warm day.
I'm sort of claustrophobic. Can I participate in the Belize Cave Tubing, Wildlife Zoo, and Tropical Education Center Excursion Combo?
Yes you can! First, if you like, you can keep your lights on and keep moving while going through a cave. Just let your guide know how you feel and you will be assisted with pleasure.
I am not good at walking for a long time Is this Belize Cave Tubing, Wildlife Zoo, and Tropical Education Center Excursion Combo right for me?
The hiking part of this cave tube tour is not strenuous and the paths are well-maintained and smooth. You will not be pushed to go faster than is comfortable for you. Our shore excursion guides will assist as needed, such as carrying your tube, etc.
I cannot swim. Can I still do cave tubing?
Yes, cave tubing does not require swimming, unless you want to. Being an inexperienced swimmer is also not a problem. You will get on your inner tube in shallow water and you ride in the tube the entire time of the excursion. You will also be wearing a life jacket for safety and comfort. If you inform your guide that you cannot swim, he can assure you feel safe during the excursion.
Will we be connected to the next tube by putting our feet on the other person's shoulder?
No! We do not use regular tubes and this kind of connection from one cave tube to the other, our tubes are equipped with cup holders, chainlinks, and headrests. We have new Petzl helmets, Petzl L.E.D lights, and life vests.
What is the travel time to the cave tubing site?
It is about one hour to and from the site.
What is served for lunch and how much time is spent?
Lunch is specially prepared - chicken stew, rice, beans, peas, coleslaw type macaroni salad with drink - 45 minutes are allotted.
Do I need to take my passport with me on the Belize Cave Tubing, Wildlife Zoo, and Tropical Education Center Excursion Combo to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
