    For this Cozumel Chankanaab All Inclusive Day Pass and Snorkel Excursion, you will meet directly at the entrance of Chankanaab Park (approximate taxi cost is $12.00 USD for 4 people). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Restrictions

    • Please note that Chankanaab does have beach wheelchairs available first come, first serve.
    • Parents will need to supervise their children at all times. Snorkel gear fits a typical 5-year-old and up.

    Is the snorkeling by boat?
    No, the snorkeling is done from shore, all of the snorkel equipment is included.
    Are there Vegan or Vegetarian options in the buffet?
    The Buffet varies daily, you may find Vegan and Vegetarian options, however, we cannot guarantee that.
     Is the dolphin activities included?
     No, all dolphin activities, manatee, and sea lion interactions are at an additional cost on site. 
     Is there a prescription lens in the snorkel masks?
     No, there are not. There are too many varieties of prescriptions to have them on hand. A suggestion is to purchase a stick-on magnifying lens to use in the mask before you leave on your vacation.
     How far is Chankanaab Park from the Cozumel cruise ship terminal?
     The taxi ride takes around 10 to 15 minutes. Taxis can be found outside your cruise terminal (approximate taxi cost is $12.00 USD for a cab of 4 people, per taxi).
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Cozumel Chankanaab National Marine Beach Park All-Inclusive Day Pass and Snorkel Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Cozumel Chankanaab National Marine Beach Park All-Inclusive Day Pass and Snorkel Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.

Carnival Cruise excursion to Chankanaab Park - transportation is not included. The taxi service cost me $15 each way. For the ocean, there is a bay, which is surrounded by a rock wall to prevent waves which is perfect for families with little ones. Next is the snorkeling area. after that is the actual ocean. There are steps that lead you to a sudden drop off, meaning suddenly the water is above your head. The swimming pool is nice, with a swim up bar. If you paid for all inclusive, then the drinks here (alcohol and sodas) are completely free.

This was our 3rd visit to Chankanaab and it was the worst one. We bought the all-inclusive and they would not let us have any drinks but water and lemonade. They charged my dad for beers and tried to charge me for a coke, although this says these are included. The park was dirtier than it has been before, and the attitude of the staff was horrible.

Our family took this tour last week and this was really the best place to relax and to have fun. The park offers activities for all ages and interests. We are a family of 5 with kids of different ages and all of them had the opportunity to try something different and have fun. We have plenty of shaded spots and lounger chairs. I felt in love with this place. If you are looking for a good relaxation spot you bet using this park since is not crowded and has a lot of activities available.

Transportation from the ship is not included and the taxi for 5 of us was $35 round trip plus tips. This is stated clearly in the excursion description. Once we arrived, we asked for Omar and were sent to his area. He gave us hand written tickets for snorkeling equipment and the buffet. He wasn’t super friendly and didn’t give a lot of details about what was included other than those 2 things. We went to snorkel first and loved that part. Then we went to eat and were asked for our tickets 3 times after we turned them in at the front. We had finished eating before we were offered something to drink. Food was just ok. Walked through the gardens, beautiful but don’t go in without bug spray. We were covered with bites by the time we came out, our fault we didn’t spray ourselves. Crocodile exhibit looked run down. I still think lunch and snorkeling was worth the price but that’s about it. Our girls will did like the fish spa, it is not included and is $20.

Booked a snorkeling excursion with this company I stead of carnival Cruise directly. The amount was more affordable. The area was nice and clean. Beautiful views everywhere with friendly staff. We didnt get to enjoy the food that was offered but the Chankanaab is a must visit.

WE spent most of the day here. I wish we had more time before the ship left. Plenty of shade and beach. The snorkeling was outstanding ! Something for everyone and excellent drink service. 5 min cab ride was super slick and $12.

This excursion was very easy to navigate. A short and inexpensive cab ride over to Chankanaab Beach and then to a quick and easy check in process with the excursion host. After that, we were about to get a few chairs and an umbrella on the beach. My family and I watched the Sea Lion show which they really enjoyed and then we ate the buffet lunch which was very good. A nice variety of options to choose from. The snorkeling was probably the best I have ever experienced, so many amazing fish to see. My kids loved the pool and being able to see the dolphins swim in their exhibit too! I would definitely recommend this excursion.

My husband, myself, and our two teenagers immensely enjoyed this excursion. We wanted something that would allow us to enjoy different things, snorkel, and relax on the beach. We really hit the mark with this one! We snorkeled most of the day, relaxed in beach chairs, strolled through the beautiful gardens, and enjoyed the wildlife. Lunch was perfect, and the sea lion show was very entertaining. I highly recommend it!

Cozumel has a lot of rocky beach area and this one was no exception. The water was very choppy the day we went which made it hard to snorkel and the water was cold as it was December. The beach was nice and clean and there were plenty of chairs all over the place. We did enjoy a nice buffet lunch with a good variety of food. Not a bad beach day for the price. You do have to get your own transportation to and from the cruise port.

Chankanaab is a beautiful marine park with something for everyone! Hammocks, Beaching, Snorkeling, nice Pool, Kids' lagoon and play area, nice snacks and food, drinks, lockers, changing areas - you name it - Chankanaab has it! The food and drinks are reasonably priced and, if you want, delivered right to you on the beach by very helpful attendants. Donny and Arturo took great care of me and were never far away when I needed anything (bottled water, Cokes,margaritas, nachos - anything!) Note - "All-Inclusive" does NOT mean drinks are included! All-inclusive means snorkel gear, admission, buffet lunch and drinks during the time you are eating lunch only. It's a Mexican buffet, limited choices but very tasty. The snorkeling is nice and easy - - and the underwater statues of The Christ and The Madonna and the god Chankanaab are wonderful - ask a staff member how to locate them in the water or you might miss seeing them. The replicas of various ruins are also beautifully done and it's very easy to see them all in a short period of time. Getting to the park from the Puenta Langosta area, where my ship was docked, took 10 minutes by cab and cost me as, as a solo traveler, $15 each way. (I gave the drivers $20 - after all, it was Christmas Day!) I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for an "easy" beach-type day in Cozumel. The place is immaculate, well maintained, and just lovely!

This pass was good piece of mind and helped prepay instead of worrying about lines. The guy was a little hard to find but we got the paper they tried to have us buy the packages at the front desk said that was the best deal. It was not. I was happy we didn't go for the deal at the front desk. Park had food and some refreshments. Lunch was decent but probably won't do the park again just because it's kind of not a good beach. Rocky and while they had steps it was crowded in the area we could be. It was a Small bay not their fault but water was amazing and so was feeding the manatees. Not price for taxi is like 12 a trip.

This excursion was by far the most fun I have ever had in my life hands down. The snorkeling was so awesome. The fish were HUGE and scared the crap out of me. Never would I thought I would swim with fish. The employees were most fantastic. The only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars. The food was atrocious. Absolutely disgusting. Nothing authentic about that food AT ALL! Why am I being served pizza in Mexico.

This was really good value, close to the port and an inexpensive taxi ride away. The lunch is nothing special and the lines are long, but the park is beautiful and the people are nice. Times goes by fast and I wish we had more time to explore. The walking paths are nice and loved seeing all the iguanas around the park. Lots of fish to see in the snorkeling, but water was really choppy when we were there.

I purchased this package for myself and my husband through shore excursioneer and purchased my children's tickets online directly from Chankanaab beach park. (2 tickets for $28) I saved money this way because my children are 7,6 and 3 and would not be snorkeling or eating from the buffet. Also 3 and under are free entrance into the park. I purchased 2 pepperoni pizzas (4 slices each pizza) for $16 and a sangria for $6.75. The buffet was just ok... I honestly thought the food would be more authentic but it was good enough to eat. I will say the cold rice pudding was wonderful. They also supplied tea, lemonade and some type of melon juice. The pool was pretty packed so we went into some type of mini beach. I would highly recommend wearing swim shoes cause its really rocky and slippery at first but gets much better when u get further out. The water was not deep and we could see tiny see through looking fish swimming around and small crabs that were the color of the sand. My kids loved watching the fish swim and playing in the sand. We also took pictures with the Iguana and Parrot $25 gets you a picture and frame of your choice. I think the picture by itself was $18. My husband did the snorkeling and tipped a guide, cause he had never been snorkeling. I did see people bring their own snorkeling gear with them, which I think we will do next time cause my husband said his mouth piece had bite marks! Meanwhile myself and the kids stayed nearby on the beach and played in the beautiful white sand. PLEASE PLEASE take plenty of sunscreen! We went at the beginning of May and the sun was in full force! My children all had sunscreen on but for some reason my daughter got sunburn at the tips of her ears! I never would have thought to put sunscreen on my kids ears. I saw soooo many people get back on the ship sunburned. Luckily I had a bottle of aloe in my stateroom. My only regret is that time flies by so fast and we didn't get to see the rest of the park. I would highly recommend being one of the first off the ship and buzz through the terminal because people will be trying to take your picture and sell u stuff! Get strait to the cab and go strait to the beach club and do your shopping when you get back from the beach club.

The park was nice and clean. Plenty of beach chairs to lounge in. Bathrooms were clean. We did the all inclusive which included food and beverages. The food was okay. I only saw beer for choice of alcoholic drink which was fine but would’ve been nice if margaritas or some type of mixed drink were included as well. The staff was friendly and catching a cab to and from was not a problem. The zoo area was like a maze if going by yourself. Would definitely get a guide because the signs were misleading and. I would suggest that if you are not big on snorkeling then I would choose another place to go. There was not alot of beach area for swimming only where the water was not too deep for little kids.

This excursion was well worth it! We had a large group do this same one and we all had a great time. The staff that provided the equipment was very friendly and easy to get along with. The snorkeling itself was good. There were a lot of fish to look at and the water was warm. The snorkeling/lunch combination turned out to be such a nice thing because we got pretty hungry after being in the water for awhile.

What a steal! After an easy cab ride from the pier straight to Chankanaab for $12 (one-way), we were greeted with this gem! Beautiful beach, snorkel-gear with the clearest water I've ever seen, lunch buffet... all for this price cannot be beat. We would gladly go again!

We had been on this excursion before and everyone loved it so much they wanted to do it again. We were scheduled to visit in October, but Hurricane Nate prevented us from getting to Cozumel. Don't worry .. Just give the name to the Taxi in the rear of The ship dock shopping area. They will take you straight there for $12. No hassle. The place is great. Clean (very Clean) beach is relaxing. There was a waiter named Victor that just took care of everything right on the beach. And beer and Ritas are cheap. Lunch was good. Free Beer there. The park, the gardens, Snorkeling, all was A+. It was so much better than being herded around behind a guide. If you're afraid to venture around on your own, this this is the way to do it. No panhandlers, sales hassle ect. Safe gated taste of Mexico. Clean massage area and price is good. Go for it! Note: Now that I read it, its pretty clear. but water and cokes are only provided free during the one hour lunch window. 1-2 pm. When I say clean.. I mean clean.. Bathroom has an attendant that cleans after every guest... no tip required. Even an S bucks there. Good for kids 1 to 100 :)

If you go here don't miss out on snorkeling. We had a aswsome time. The beach is so beautiful!!paradise!!Our tour guide was named Diego. He made us feel safe and shared his world with us. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Also be sure to try the margaritas in the clay pots. Thanks again Diego!!!

It was a bit of a challenge to get the taxi to the park but when we were at the park we had a great time. It was as easy as the instructions said. We would go back again for sure.

Forget about crowded beach clubs Dune Acres Station, NC

We use to visit other beach clubs, but this time we rather try something different and we loved it! The beach is huge and very clean, there is a nice spot for everyone, plus a lot of extra activities and things to see and do. The buffet lunch was good and as we do not drink much, it was perfect to be able to just buy a couple of beers and not been charged for an open bar ticket that we don´t use. Everything went perfectly for us, and we definitely will be back!

Took this excursion with myself and my two teenage boys. We had an excellent time walking around in the park, GREAT food, and pretty reef with lots of colorful fish. Definitely recommend this excursion to anyone going to Cozumel!
