    Meeting Point

    Your meeting location is just a 3-8 minute taxi ride (not included) away from your pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.


    What is included?
    • Certified captain, crew, and bilingual snorkel guide
    • Snorkel set including varied-sized fins, sanitized snorkel, silicone mask, and vest (small gear for children on a limited basis, suggest you bring your own for them)
    • Bottled water, juice, and beer on the boat
    • Bathroom on board
    • Marine Park fees and docking fees at Paradise Shallow and Dzul Ha not included - $5.00USD to be paid on site
    • The same price applies to snorkelers and non-snorkelers
    Excursion Notes
      • Parents know their child's swimming abilities and should monitor their children at all times.
      • We suggest you bring a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, cash for transportation, extra food, drinks, tips, etc.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • This excursion is not suitable for mobility-impaired people - a ladder is used to climb in and out of the boat.
    • Some restrictions for water sports may apply to pregnant women, people with high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, and/or similar.
    • Please consult a medical professional for more information about safe participation in this activity.
    • The minimum participation age is 5 years old.
    • Small gear sizes are limited, we suggest bringing your own.

    Frequently Asked Questions
    May I take this excursion if I just want to ride along with my group who is snorkeling?
     Yes!  The price is the same if you snorkel or remain on the boat.  There is a glass viewing panel that allows you to see the marine life below.
    Is the excursion canceled if it is raining?
    The Glass Bottom Boat Snorkeling Excursion may be operated during rain, all decisions are made putting our safety first. Please check with our local operator on-site if your excursion is canceled.
    How much time is spent on each snorkeling site?
    You will spend about 30 minutes or so at each of the two coral reefs. 
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Cozumel Express 2 Reef Marine Park Snorkeling Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Cozumel Express 2 Reef Marine Park Snorkeling Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

We chose this excursion because we only had a limited time in Port and wanted to explore the island in addition to an excursion. The guys that put on the trip were awesome. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They also did a very good job looking out for our safety.

We have a very good time snorkeling on shallow reefs in Cozumel. We spotted rays, turtle and different types of colorful fishes. The guides were just ok but the marine life was simply amazing. The meeting location was very closed from our cruise ship port.

We had 2 guides to the three of us. One of the guides was always in the water with us and helped us spot great things to see under the water.

We had a private tour because we were the only two that went on which was extremely good and cool. The fish come to you and you see all types ! Great for the price and it was 8 dollars to get to the location which was not bad at all. Will recommend!!!
