    For the Cozumel Crystal Clear Boat and Reef Snorkel Adventure Excursion, you will meet at a convenient meeting point close to your cruise terminal. Just a 5-10-minute taxi ride from the south piers Puerta Maya Cruise Terminal or SSA International Cruise Terminal, or an 8-minute taxi ride from Punta Langosta downtown Cruise Terminal / Cozumel downtown. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

      • Please note that the operator is required to add ALL participants to the bookings, including free-of-charge infants.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum age to snorkel is 4 years old.
    • Children are welcome on board, but may not be left unattended on the boat.
    • This Cozumel clear boat excursion is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. A metal ladder is used to enter the boat from the water.
    • Guests need to have basic swimming skills to snorkel.
    • No one under the influence of alcohol will be allowed in the water. Alcohol is served only after the water/snorkel activities.
    • There is no restroom on the clear / glass-bottom excursion boat.
    • Life vests are mandatory to wear.

    Yes, there are shade and sunning areas.
     How much time is spent on the snorkeling site? 
    You will spend about 15-20 minutes snorkeling.
    Is there a bathroom at the beach club? 
    Yes, you can use the bathrooms at the beach club before or after the excursion.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Cozumel Crystal Clear Boat and Reef Snorkel Adventure Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Cozumel Crystal Clear Boat and Reef Snorkel Adventure Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

It was so fun to ride in the clear boat. We didn’t see a lot of fish but the other sights were cool! Those that snorkeled had a great time. I wish it was a little bit longer of a ride and a little bit more scenery. Our crew was fantastic.

We visited in April 2022 and chose to book this excursion because my husband could not go in the water to swim or snorkel due to a medical thing, but this still gave him a great view of some of the underwater sights. It turned out to be an absolutely wonderful way to spend part of the day in Cozumel! Our guides were very friendly, well informed, and spoke several languages including English. We could clearly see fish, starfish, coral, the shipwrecks, and all kinds of things while in the boat. The water at times looked about 5ft deep when it was actually about 200ft deep - the water clarity is amazing! The excursion was just a short taxi ride (maybe a mile?) from the port and there was a comfortable shady place to sit and wait after checking in until the excursion started. There is a steep step down from the dock into the boat, but the crew was very helpful if you aren't highly mobile. Also, you are supposed to go barefooted in the boat - so wear some shoes that are easy to slip off even if you don't plan to snorkel. The boat holds about 12-15 people plus 3 crew members without feeling crowded and was a nice casual boat ride along the coast, always within a few hundred yards of shore. No one in our group had any problem with sea sickness as the ride was not rough at all. The snorkeling equipment was provided and some crew members accompanied guests in the water and took pictures and video of them, which was a nice plus. Snorkelers must be able to climb a metal ladder hanging off the side of the boat to get back in, so if you have limited mobility be aware of that. The crew provided drinks (water, Mexican sodas, and Mexican beer) from a cooler onboard. We didn't snorkel but thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and would recommend it highly! It was a nice relaxing inexpensive little something to do in port and still left plenty of time for shopping and other activities.

From start to finish this was a great experience. The guide was incredible. My wife is not a fan of snorkeling so this was a great option for her. We got to see a ship wreck and the view was pretty clear from the boat. Saw some beautiful fish swim by. We did have a chance to snorkel which was awesome. Great day all around!

Not sure where to begin. Super easy to find our guide. He was a hoot from the beginning, had laughing as we met him. The captain, super friendly and was telling us stories while on our way to the first stop. The views from the boat are amazing, you can see some much - beautiful fishes, in a rainbow of colors. We could see the shipwrecks really clearly. Definitely doing this again when we come back to Cozumel!!

We had a great time on this excursion. The boat was fantastic, first time on one like that - crystal clear. You could see the fishes swim by, even got to see a turtle glide by when we visited the shipwreck. The snorkeling was awesome.
