This adventure takes you to two of Jamaica's most popular river attractions, and you even get lunch! Enjoy the famous Dunns River Falls and your choice of river rapid adventures - tubing, rafting, kayaking, or river boarding along with a great beachside lunch!
You will meet your driver for the day at your cruise port in Ocho Rios to begin your drive along the north coast highway to Trelawny. At the river rapids adventure base, your guide will sign you in and get you set up with all of your safety gear. You will be able to choose which river activity you prefer - tubing, rafting, kayaking, or riverboarding on the Rio Bueno River. Your group can mix and match the activities!
Even though you'll enjoy some spray from those river waters, that Caribbean sun is warm! You will enjoy the opportunity halfway down the river to climb to a platform and jump off into the refreshing waters of a lagoon. As you make your way down the river, there is a wonderful mix of rapids and lazy streams that ultimately take you to the Caribbean Sea! Weather permitting, you will get on board a boat to cruise along the coast of Bengal Bay to Bengal Beach.
Take in the sun and the stunning blue waters of the Caribbean and soak up the sun on the beach! Your complimentary lunch includes traditional Jamaican dishes like jerk chicken and rice and peas, as well as a beverage (water, Gatorade, and soft drinks). You will have 45 minutes to enjoy your lunch and the beach.
Following lunch, your driver will take you back to Ocho Rios for a visit to the world famous Dunns River Falls. These may be some of the most spectacular falls you will ever see! You will have a guide to help you on your hour and a half climb up the 600 feet of rocky terrain. As you hike up the falls, there are places to swim and simply take in the incredible beauty. You may even find the perfect spot for a natural water massage.
At the end of this incredible adventure, your driver will take you back to your Ocho Rios cruise port. This really is the perfect Jamaican experience!
