    For this Ocho Rios Famous Dunn's River Falls and White River Tubing Excursion, you will meet your guide at your Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

      • We suggest you bring a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, bug spray, sturdy shoes to climb falls, cash, a camera, etc.
      • Please note that the changing rooms at Dunn's River are located within the park. Guests will not be allowed to exit the park to leave items in the transportation. Lockers are available to rent for $8.00 USD with $3.00 USD refundable.
      • If anyone from your group does not show up without the required prior notice, you will need to pay 20% of their balance as well (directly to the operator as a no-show penalty).
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum age for solo tubing on the river tubing part of this shore excursion is 5 years old.

Our group of six booked this excursion directly through shoreexursioneer rather than booking an excursion through Carnival. We felt so lucky that we did. The six of us were picked up in our own private, air-conditioned van with a driver and a tour guide rather than the big buses Carnival uses. When we got to the falls it was unbelievably packed. Our tour guide walked us past literally hundreds of people right down to the beach where the falls begin. We don’t know how she did it but we would probably still be in that line if she hadn’t. The falls were amazing. It takes a little stamina to get to the very top but we were assigned a falls guide that helped us along the way. I was concerned there might be algae build up on the rocks, making them slippery, but they are kept scrubbed free of it so there is no problem with your water shoes having a solid grip. The rocks also have notches to put your feet in so your footing is secure. Some sections have hand rails where the water is rushing hard. There are a few parts of the falls where you can exit if you don’t want to continue the climb to the top. Some of us thought about exiting towards the end but we decided to make it to the top. We were all glad we did; it was a great feeling of accomplishment especially for an overweight, 60-year-old gal with a bad back like myself. I worried needlessly that I wouldn’t be able to do it. Dunn’s River Falls really is a must do. The White River tubing part of the excursion was also amazing. It’s both relaxing and exciting. You take a 3-mile journey through slow moving sections with thrilling little rapids along the way. The river is shaded by trees which made the experience even more peaceful. At the end, our private van and tour guide was waiting for us at a little shop where you can buy a souvenir, a cold beer and pictures of your group that were taken along the way. There is no pressure to buy anything. Our tour guide took us to the river tubing adventure before the falls so we could bypass wait time for tubes. We were the first ones there and had the river and tubing guide to ourselves which made it realllly nice. Our tour guide must have connections because she knew how to work the system. That made it worth the price alone. In case you want to request our tour guide, her name was Arlene and the name of the company was Caribbean World and we booked them through shoreexcursionseer excursion #S1448. I cannot recommend this excursion highly enough. It’s one of my favorites of all the places we have gone over the years. We all loved it. P.S. We all kept our belongings in the van and they were safe and secure throughout the day.

Jasmine and our driver Barrington was the best tour guides. They picked us up and got us to Dunns River before the crowd. They even stopped to allow us to get shoes for the falls. I felt like they were family who took us under their wing in their home for the day. They also got us to our river tubing and that was just as fun. I will have great memories of our trip with Jasmine and Barrington along with Dunns Rivers and white river tubing. They were very accommodating and even gave great recommendations for authentic Jamaican food which was excellent. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend.
