Was apprehensive at first until we met our guide Donna. Very nice and knowledgeable about the island. It was an extremely hot day, so we were glad the air conditioning worked well in our van. We wanted to see the real island, not the "touristy" parts. She did a great job with that. Found some beautiful spots off the beaten path perfect for pictures. If we make it back to the island, we'll definitely request to have her as our guide again!

The excursion was great, we got to see all the important places on the island and our guide David, was very nice and Knowledgeable, he answered all out questions and took us to all the places we wanted to go. No crowded cruise excursion bus and you go at your own pace. Highly recommended!!

Our group of 9 adults thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Roatan with Felicia as our driver and guide. Instructions for meeting up went smoothly, and she was most helpful with our two friends with mobility issues. Our tour included a stop at the chocolate factory, rum factory and a beautiful view place where we lunched on delicious Honduran seafood. Highly recommend this tour for first time visitors on a cruise ship. Great value and small group.

After a wet & chaotic arrival in Roatan we were met by our driver Ronnie who led us to the car for our private island tour. We then spent around 4-5 hours covering all corners of the island. We visited West End where we stopped at the Chocolate Factory. A free tour and informative talk then tasting of around 10-12 milk & dark chocolate products. We also visited the Roatan Rum Company where rum and rum cake samples were well received. Also at this stop was a great viewing gallery of the Caribbean Sea. Other stops included the 3D Roatan sign next to the sea, optional Monkey, Sloth and Iguana farm visits as well as seeing other areas of the island. Our guide Ronnie was very knowledgeable and English well spoken throughout our tour. Excellent and we were very pleased with our tour and visit.

This was my second time visiting Roatan and booking a similar tour through Shore Excursioneer. It did not disappoint! Our lovely guide, Audrey, picked my husband and I up at the designated spot and took us wherever we wanted to go. Our first stop was to visit the Monkeys and Sloths (which is seriously one of my favorite things ever). There is also zip lining at that location, but we didn't want to do that so we headed to a local chocolate factory and a cool store that sells recycled art/crafts. After that we went to the West End Village and she parked and let us explore at our leisure. We didn't really feel like "tourist" food so she took us to an authentic Honduran restaurant where we dined on seafood. She delivered us back to our cruise terminal with plenty of time to spare. Mahogany Bay is gorgeous, but Roatan is totally worth exploring - highly recommend booking this tour and seeing the island with a local. Be sure to ask for Audrey!

Amazing- my review if more focused for families traveling with a tampa

We followed the directions on the ticket and found our tour guide right where they indicated. We had a short walk- that was feasible with a wheel chair. The van was new model, clean, spacious, and great a/c. We were a party of 7. My son has a wheelchair/stroller that folds- we were able to put it in the back and everyone still had room to sit and spread out. I can't tell you how accommodating our guide was to my sons needs. She stopped anytime we needed to take him to the restroom and/or feed him. She was very knowledgeable about the island and offered many optional places to stop. She took us to Las Palma a restaurant on the beach.. we were able to get a table on the beach with shade- we were able to easily push the wheelchair... its beautiful- the food and service wasn't that great... but it was still worth going. You can do as much or as little as you want. We also stopped at the chocolate factory and got to taste some amazing variety of flavors. This excursion made our day stress free and provided us the opportunity to have our son spend the day with us as a family- which for us was priceless.

My tour guide, Orlin, was a delight. The day in Port was pouring with rain but that didn’t stop us from having a fabulous day. He took us all around the island, showing us many sites stopping whenever we asked for photo opportunities. We asked to see island life rather than the typical tourist traps & Orlin delivered in abundance.

Our tour guide, Carla, was fantastic. We were interested in the culture and history of the island and we learnt lots. She also took us to the sloth hangout, which was fantastic. We then asked her to take us to a restaurant to have Honduran food, and I have a lovely meal of fish, plantains, rice and beans. We saw a lot of the island and the trip was excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

Carla was great...she showed us the best time. Really didn't have anything planned. Carla knows exactly were to take you. We hit all The things you wanted to see in Roatan. She tells you about the lives on the island, the schools, the communities. She offers all the site seeing activities and the cost...so you can make up your minds. Give you as much time as you like were ever you stop. We were very please with Carla. Note: Were to meet...walk out the port passed all the buses and taxis. Walk to the left leaving the port. Take the side walk down hill. That's were the excursion are that are not Carnival.

This was a good tour! Our guide, Wanda was awesome and was open to anything we wanted to do. For what this was, it was great. We probably wouldn’t do it again just because it was a long day riding in a car. However, if you want to see every inch of the island this is the tour for you.

We booked this tour because we didn't want to go to the beach. Arrived in port and met out guide. She asked what we were interested in. We decided to visit the East side area first. On the way we talked about the culture of area, schools, economy. religions, etc.. Asked about the Rum Cake Factory. Any area we asked about she would take us. The tour was listed as a 3 hour tour. Our tour lasted nearly 5 hours. She informed us she would take as long as we wanted. One person in our group asked about eating sea food. She took us to Geo Restaurant a reasonably priced place with grouper, red snapper or most any fish you wanted. The restaurant would fix 4 or 5 different ways very good. I asked about where I could get good coffee at a reasonable price. She stopped at local grocery store. I purchased 2 pounds of coffee for $ 5.00. At shops close to pier cost $ 9.00/lb. If want a tour where you get to do what you want to do book this tour.

The appeal of the East-West tour was the ability to personalize it. Delarie our tour guide and driver Howard were willing to completely customize it to our interests. They were lovely and gracious. Highlights of the day: Took in beautiful vistas, Played with white-face capuchin monkeys in a small family owned refuge, Admired beautiful Honduran handcrafts and carved mahogany, Snorkeled amongst hundreds of colorful fish, coral & fauna under the sea, from the beach at the Grand Roatan and Enjoyed a sumptuous bowl of Garifuna stew with fish, chunks of lobster and green plantains. Watched Garifuna drummers, dancers and singers at the port. A true feast for the senses!

This was a great day and our guide was very good and pleasant. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name it started with a D and this was on May 31, 2016. We were only 3 people on this excursion. We went to a animal sanctuary to view local species such as monkey, lemur, cote and parrots which is their national bird. Then she took us for some shopping in local shops. After that we went to the Grant Roatan Resort for a beach break and lunch. The resort is in West Bay Beach which is beautiful and for lunch we had the Garifuna Seafood Soup made with coconut milk which was delicious and reasonably priced. You can snorkel right off their beach. Beach chairs are for guests only, however you can sit and leave your things in the restaurant. Our guide stayed with us at all times. Our last stop was at a light house to see the breathtaking views of all the island. Totally enjoyed this excursion. Thank you to our guide.

You pick how long, you pick where to go! It does not get more personalized than that. Saw everything I wanted and enjoyed the entire 5 hours. Great guide! We had the option to stop for lunch but we choose not to.
