Don't worry about feeling rushed, this excursion is for the day so you can just relax knowing you are in good hands. This is sure to be a day you won't want to miss.

Your day begins when you meet your English speaking, friendly driver who will be waiting for you outside your Barbados cruise ship terminal and will escort you to the air-conditioned transportation. As the transportation for your 6 to 7-hour adventure heads out from the cruise terminal area, the guide will fill you in on some interesting facts and stories about the area and some of the "Bajan" paradise history (Bajan is a local word for Barbados)!

The first stop will be at Harrison's Cave for a Tram Ride and guided visit. This is where you will climb aboard electric trams that will take you through the winding tunnels viewing scenic caverns with their stalactites and stalagmites that have been forming for centuries. While in the cave you will also notice streams, waterfalls, and collection pools. Again, have that camera ready, you will certainly want to capture images of this unique environment! Some of these scenes have to be seen to be believed.
Make sure to have your camera, you may well spot the Green Monkeys at play, along with a variety of other tropical wildlife at Wechman Hall Gully.

For the second part of your day, you will spend at Carlisle Bay. You will have the opportunity to taste local cuisine during your lunch stop. Stretch your legs and enjoy the view while you eat. Then you can take a glass bottom boat ride to head off and swim with the local green sea turtles. Since they are in their natural habitat, we recommend that you observe, but don't touch. But, just imagine yourself swimming along with these magnificent creatures. They may appear clumsy on land, but they are incredibly graceful in the water. You can also snorkel at one of the many shipwrecks located in the shallow bay.
Finally, you will enjoy some relaxing beach time. These facilities also have fresh water showers and restrooms. You will also have the opportunity to purchase drinks if you'd like.

Once your beach time is finished, you will be taken back to your Barbados cruise ship pier in your air conditioned transportation. Please note, you should wear your bathing suit and have a towel for your turtle swim and beach-side activities.
