    For the Cozumel Electric Bike City Highlights and Taco Tasting Excursion, you will meet at a convenient location just a 15-minute walk from the Puerta Maya or International Pier or a 10-minute taxi ride from Punta Langosta downtown pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.


    What is included?
    • All equipment, including your choice of available bikes and helmets (required to wear).
    • Friendly, experienced English-speaking shore excursion guides.
    • Guided electric bike ride on the paved downtown road.
    • Scenic stops along the route.
    • Bottled water during the ride.
    • Ice popsicles are included.
    • 3 different Tacos to taste! (you can choose between Cochinita Pibil, Carne Asada, Mole, chicken tinga, vegetarian chili, and more!).
    • 1 non-alcoholic natural drink.
    • Optional beach break at the end of the Cozumel shore excursion.
    Excursion Notes
      • We suggest you wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
      • Bring along a small backpack with biodegradable sunblock, bug spray, a towel, cash for snacks, drinks, souvenirs, tips, etc.
      • The excursion operates in light rain and only the operator will advise if it is canceled.
      • Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if the requirements are not met.

    • The minimum participation age is 12 years old.
    • The minimum height is 5ft.
    • All guests must know how to ride a bike.
    • The maximum weight allowed is 280 lbs (127 Kg).
    • This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility, or back or knee issues.
    • There is a minimum of 2 guests needed for the excursion, and a maximum of 20.
    • Those who are under 18 are required to have a parent/guardian sign for them.

    How fast will the bikes go without even pedaling?
    The bikes will travel at 20mph and faster if you assist with pedaling.
    Can the bikes be used in the rain?
    Yes, the battery is sealed so brief rain showers or splashes are ok. The excursion operates in light rain and only the operator will advise if it is canceled.
    What size bikes are available?
    The frames range from 24" to 26". The bike guides will make all the needed adjustments to the seat and handlebar height to make sure you have a comfortable ride.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Cozumel Electric Bike City Highlights and Taco Tasting Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Cozumel Electric Bike City Highlights and Taco Tasting Excursion , we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Fun E-Bike Excursion Venice

We wanted to review this excursion because many people don't know about it and so we wanted to reach out and say it was fun, safe and interesting. The bikes were great and easy to control...no problems at all. We went to one of their oldest churches, an area to see the beautiful waters, the straw market downtown, tequila tasting and finally lunch...3 different tacos. Our guide, Milton was very courteous, helpful and mindful of everyone on their bikes as we traveled though the streets. We would definitely do it again.

4 of us did this E bike tour with Gris, a wonderful guide. She started with some instructions as to how to use the bikes.. none of us had ridden before. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful church, local part of Cozumel and the taco stop at Los Guisados was amazing. We continued our tour toward the north end of the island and enjoyed stops upon return along the Malecon. Highly recommend this tour if you are ok with not doing a water activity in beautiful Cozumel. It checked our boxes for the stop!

We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour with Carlos. The electric bikes were great to ride, I loved how fast they could go. The stop at the Tequila factory was interesting and the Taco lunch was delicious. We enjoyed being able to stop at the downtown shopping market. We highly recommend this tour while in Cozumel.

From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally. The lady who checked us in was funny and friendly and offered water and gave exceptional instructions on how to operate the bike. Pedro our guide took his time with us and showed us all the sights plus a little extra. It was an amazing tour and will do it next time we come back.

This is the best way to see Cozumel up close. We had such an amazing time and a wonderful guide. He took us around downtown, got to sample some tacos, freshly made juices, ice cream and popsicles. Try the watermelon juice... WOW, so refreshing.
