    For the Cozumel Electric Bike Eastside Road Ride, you will meet at a convenient location just a 10-minute walk from the Puerta Maya or International Pier or a 5-minute taxi ride from the Punta Langosta downtown pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Notes

      Suggested bringing along biodegradable sunblock, bug spray, a towel, tennis shoes, a swimsuit, a camera, cash for souvenirs, tips, etc.

    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum participation age is 12 years old.
    • The minimum height is 5ft.
    • All guests must know how to ride a bike.
    • The maximum weight allowed is 280lbs (127Kg).
    • This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility, or back or knee issues.
    • There is a minimum of 2 guests needed for the excursion, and a maximum of 24.
    • Those who are under 18 are required to have a parent/guardian sign for them.

    The bikes will travel at 20mph and faster if you assist with pedaling.
    Can the bikes be used in the rain?
    Yes, the battery is sealed so brief rain showers or splashes are ok.
    What size bikes are available?
    The frames range from 24" to 26". The bike guides will make all the needed adjustments to the seat and handlebar height to make sure you have a comfortable ride.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Cozumel Electric Bike East Side Road Ride Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Cozumel Electric Bike East Side Road Ride Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

My wife and I took the East Coast tour on the electric bikes and had a great time. The staff at Beach Bum are great and go out of their way to see that you have a good time. Carlos was our tour guide and he was fantastic. Great attitude and he took his time with us to make sure we were comfortable with the bikes before starting the tour (we are both in our mid 70's). He did not rush us and went at our own pace. Can't say enough good things about Carlos. Highly recommend Beach Bum and suggest you get Carlos as your tour guide!

The east side of Cozumel is so beautiful. We made several stops to take pictures. Our guide was fantastic, so funny and shared so many stories about Cozumel with us.

We did this excursion Dec 2021. Our guide, Pedro, was amazing! The bikes are so much fun and easy to ride! You can peddle as much or as little as you like! The east side of Cozumel is so different from the west side where the ships come in! It is my favorite spot on this beautiful island! Highly recommend this tour!

Cozumel has so much to see. We had a great time riding around the island. Our guide was really funny and told so many interesting things about Cozumel. We stopped at a local restaurant and had the best beef and chicken fajitas!! We are coming back!
