Your exciting day discovering Rome will start at your meeting point, "Largo Della Pace" cruise terminal, where your departure staff will be waiting for you. Just show them your voucher and they will escort you to the bus. On your way to Rome, there will be an assistant on board who will give you information and advice on the best highlights in port. They will also provide you with maps of Rome on which the main points of interest will be marked, so please feel free to ask them how to reach and visit them!

Depending on its route, you will be able to see amazing places like the Vatican and admire the majestic St Peter's Basilica, finally built in 1626, or pass near the Tiber and see the marvelous Castel Sant'Angelo. After these incredible views, your imagination and creativity will take place! You will have plenty of time to visit your favorite spots in town and also purchase some activities directly on the bus to start with! 

There is so much to choose from and something interesting for everyone! After you are dropped off at the Palace of Justice, Palazzo dei Trubunali, there are several options for you. For example, heading to the north, at 15 minutes walking you can visit the Vatican or just go to the city center, just 10 minutes walking. If you decide to cross Ponte Umberto I, located just in from of the Palace of Justice you can reach the fortress of Castel Sant'Angelo. There is also the famous Piazza Navonna to see the Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini, the Fountain of the Moon, by Giacomo della Porta, and the Fountain of Neptune, by Gregorio Zappalá and Antonio della Bitta. At the end of a fantastic day full of culture and history, you can return to the Palace of Justice to be picked up at 4:00 PM, the bus departs at 4:30 PM to be taken back to your Civitavecchia cruise ship terminal.
