    Restrooms are located at each stop. In Europe, a small package of tissues is suggested as public restrooms may or may not have toilet paper. Most public restrooms require a small fee. Having a few local coins is highly recommended as they do not always make changes.
    Can I stay in Monte Carlo at the end of the excursion?
    If your ship's time in port allows you to, you can. Just make sure your guide is aware you are ending your excursion there. Please be aware that you are on your own for transportation back to Villefranche and meeting the ship on time - it is a 30-minute drive by taxi. The fare will be around 28 Euros one way for the taxi for up to 4 guests. (Night time fares apply after 06:00 pm and are higher) There are also trains, which require a hike to reach the station in Monte Carlo, and buses, that are often crowded and may still require walking a distance. Make sure you leave sufficient time if using these forms of travel.
    Can I use US dollars?
    Most large stores and restaurants will take major credit cards and some may take other currencies besides the Euro. Small stores restaurants or sidewalk vendors will usually only take local currency. The best exchange rates for currency are usually at major bank ATMs. The worst rates are at the airport, train stations, or exchange bureaus located in major excursionist areas. Before leaving home, please check with your credit card companies and banks on what transaction or other fees they may apply if you use a debit or credit card abroad. WE VISIT DIFFERENT PORTS OF CALL DURING OUR CRUISE SHIP, THIS PORT WAS MY FAVORITE NOT ONLY BECAUSE WE CHOOSE THIS EXCURSION WHICH ALLOWS US TO VISIT DIFFERENT PLACES IN SUCH A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME BUT BECAUSE IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT. THE GUIDE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, MY FAMILY AND I ENJOYED THIS TRIP A LOT. MY DAUGHTER FAVORITE SPOT WAS THE CASINO SQUARE, SHE TOOK GREAT PHOTOS!

There were 4 in our group and we arrive in via cruise ship. I had made arrangements via email and all my queries were promptly answered and payment was made online. We were met at the appointed time by our guide. He was excellent providing us with information and details of the surrounding areas and our visit to La turbie and Monte Carlo. The vehicle was new, clean & very comfortable. We felt as if we were being taken out on a day trip by a dear friend instead of a guide. If you're looking for a reliable and good tour company. I can say this port was definitely my favorite! I am from the USA and we always go to the Caribbean but this time, we decided to go in a different route. I was kind of worried about booking an excursion with a third party company, but this tour exceeds my expectations! Very easy to find our guide and he was waiting for us on the tender pier shoreside in Villefranche. The guide was very personable and welcoming from the start. It was clear that he loves his job and he loves the area. We visit the Medieval hilltop town of Eze, Rock of Monte Carlo and stop for photos in Casino Square! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Fun trip from Nice to Monaco and return, the village of Eze was a trip back in time. The Royal Prince Palace at Monaco was amazing and really like being in a movie. The trip was well organized with pickup from our tender pier. Our guide was well presented, very familiar with the area, and made the trip fun and enjoyable. Definitely, recommend this half day trip.

We did with excursion back in May, we thought since the excursion is 4 hours we won't be able to enjoy the port, however, we never felt hurried and had a wonderful experience. The guide provided great information but was casual and interesting. They were beyond fantastic! I can wait to do this excursion again, we will bring more friends next time.

We decided to book this excursion, as the one offer on the ship was extremely expensive. We started our day by meeting our guide outside the terminal, was very easy to recognize him as he was holding a sign with my name. We boarded the transportation with our small group of just 4. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Our first stop was Eze where the views were outstanding! Then they took us to the Fragonard perfume factory (my favorite stop and I wanted to buy everything). Then we visit La Turbie and Monaco where my son created a game of counting the Lamborghinis and Ferraris he saw in Monaco. We definitely recommend this, even with children (but maybe take snacks in case you don't want to use any of your "free time" to stop and eat).

IT WAS A QUICK DRIVE TO ALL THE TOWNS WHICH ALLOWED US TO REALLY TAKE IN THE VIEWS OF EACH LOCATION. EZE WAS MY FAVORITE. I JUST LOVE TOWNS THAT ARE HILLTOP, THE SCENERY IS JUST PHENOMENAL. WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED HERE LONGER. THE VISIT TO THE FRAGONARD PERFUMERIE WAS ALSO MY FAVORITE. FRANCE HAS SOME OF THE MOST EXQUISITE PERFUMES. I DIDNT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE MINITUARE SETS, TO BRING BACK AS SOUVENIERS. WE CONTINUED OUR TOUR TO THE NEXT TOWN, LA TURBIE, WHICH WAS ONLY 10 MINUTES AWAY. ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE WITH MEDIEVAL ARQUITECTURE. THE LAST TOWN WAS MONTE CARLO. THIS TOWN IS MORE DEVELOPED AND HAS MORE MODERN BUILDINGS BUT HAS THAT FRENCH CHARM. THIS IS WHERE THE GRAND PRIX IS HOSTED. PREPARATIONS WERE IN EFFECT SINCE IT WAS A MONTH AWAY, AND WE WERE TOLD THAT SOME TOURS ARE UNAVAILABLE DUE TO THIS SO WE WERE GLAD WE WERE ABLE TO VISIT BEFORE THE MADNESS BEGAN! IT WAS IMPRESSIVE TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TOWNS. IN MONTE CARLO THERE ARE LUXURIOUS YACHTS DOCKED AND FANCY CARS. JAMES BONDS FILMS WERE FILMED ON THE CASINO WHICH WE ALSO VISITED. THIS TOUR ALLOWED US TO SEE AND COMPARE THESE TOWNS IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME, AND WE REALLY ENJOY.

Very nice excursion but not suitable for those who aren't used to lots of walking. I'll be honest that I wasn't prepared for so much walking (I should have read the description as it is clearly stated!), other than that it was a great excursion, landscapes taken out of a movie! I just took the pace slower which in a small group it was much easier. The highlight of the day was seeing Monte Carlo. My husband, a car buff, was practically drooling over the cars in front of the casino especially the 3 Bugatti ultra luxury cars parked side by side. At close to 3/4 of a million dollars each, one can dream! Eze was also just incredible with some of the most amazing views. It was like stepping back in time. France definitely has many beautiful towns and sites to see and I think we saw the best.
