    The St. Maarten Fantastic Amazing Race Excursion staff meets you after a short 10-minute walk (or water taxi ride, approximately $7.00USD round trip from the ship's pier, not included) from your St. Maarten cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    The St. Maarten Fantastic Amazing Race Excursion is created within a 2.5 miles radius of your ship, the staff is situated along the way to assist and guide you and there is even a cell phone provided for you to contact the race staff for added assistance (must be returned at end of the race).
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the St. Maarten Fantastic Amazing Race Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.

The staff is full of energy and very enthusiastic! The race was a blast. The only critique I would have is how they make the teams. If you are mega athletic , you should not be tramed up with people that cant keep up. There should be a mandatory requirement that everyone be part of the team somehow. Many people just got dragged along and really were not allowed to participate when their team members were much more assertive. That was unfortunate. Overall, a great time.

We did this excursion when we were in St. Maarten on a cruise and it was great! We worked as a team, so met new people and enjoyed doing it together. The variety of the tasks we were given made it very interesting, and you could be as competitive or relaxed about it as you wanted. Some of the tasks involved walking around Philipsburg which was an interesting way to see the town; it was a beautiful area and we felt very comfortable there. The staff was very friendly, outgoing and encouraging which added to the fun. When we were finished, they gave us a snack and cold drink while we went over the scores and relaxed. I'd recommend this to anyone. It was one of the best excursions we've done!

We had a very good time. My kids are 12 and 14, and with my husband and myself we raced around St. Martin. We saw parts of the island that we hadn't seen the last time. I liked the grocery store. My daughter commented afterwards that we were all good at some part of the race. We all had our part to contribute. Very good! Don't forget to wear a swimsuit under your clothes. I answered a question with the island of Barbuda and one of the staff told me that was not an island. Check your maps people! Too funny! Not Bermuda or Barbados.

This shore excursion was so much fun. We had 14 family members that we split into 3 teams. The race was both physically and mentally challenging. The guides were very personable and fun. They were highly committed to making sure we all had a great time while still making us work. The people of St. Maarten were so helpful and encouraging. This tour really did make us feel like we were running The Amazing Race!!!! Great family bonding experience and for those that are looking for a competitive race, this will give you that. Not for the faint of heart if you want to truly race it. The distance covered is impressive and there are a couple of challenges that require much physical endurance.
