    For this Juneau Food Tasting Walking Excursion, you will meet your local excursion guide at a convenient point close to your Juneau cruise pier area. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Notes
      • We suggest you wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers.
      • Bring along your camera and cash for refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
      • Additional food and beverage items can be purchased at your own expense at the different excursion stops.
      • The local operator will try their best to work within your food allergies or restrictions. Seafood and shellfish are served on this excursion, as are meats and cheeses. If you have any dietary restrictions, please leave a note while doing your booking.
      • This excursion is only available from April 28 through October 1st.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The excursion requires approximately 1.2 miles (2 km) of walking.
    • Minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
    • This excursion is wheelchair accessible, however, there is a small incline mid-way.
    • Drinking age is a minimum of 21 years.

    Does the excursion start and end at the same location?
    No. The walking area is very small and your guide will be happy to help you find your way to your next adventure location.
    Is alcohol served in this Juneau Excursion?
    Yes. One tasting has a wine pairing and your final tasting will be locally brewed beer.  For guests ages 12-20, they will have iced tea or a soft drink available.  A bottle of water will also be provided in each excursion participant’s bag.
    How much food is included in this Juneau Excursion?
    This Juneau Food Excursion is designed to provide enough food for a hearty lunch, yet not leave participants so full that they cannot continue enjoying their visit to Juneau.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Juneau Food Tasting Walking Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Juneau Food Tasting Walking Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

I did this tour with my husband back in September and it was so much fun. The food was delicious at every stop and got recipes and coupons for discounts. At the end of the tour, we used some of the coupons and return to one of the restaurants to have lunch. I highly recommended.

We were part of the Carnival Legend middle of August and I decided to take something shorter as per traveling with our Grand Parents. This was simply our best day in Juneau, learned about their customs, culture and tasted a lot of goodies. This is a low speed activity and everyone enjoyed it.

This was an incredible small tour sightseeing in the downtown area and taste some local appetizers. The walk is very easy and the guide is very knowledgeable and gives us a background of Juneau. The food was really good and ended up returning to one of the places to have lunch. My friends and I gave it 2 thumbs up.
