    This Lisbon Excursion operates rain or shine, within safety guidelines. The local cruise excursion operator will decide at the time of departure if there is a reason to postpone or cancel the excursion.
    Will there be restrooms?

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

It's a full day tour with plenty to see. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE SOME CONFORTABLE SHOES SINCE YOU WILL WALK AND MIGHT DO SOME HIKING ; ) Our first stop, the Pena Park and Palace. The park was amazing, with beautiful gardens. We had hike to get to a peak to get to the palace. The palace is charming and colorful. It's on top of a hill so the view from up there is amazing. You will get a whole lot of great pictures up there! We were there for almost 2 hours, then headed out to town (Sintra) to grab some lunch. We decided to do some exploring instead since it's such a cute town with a very dominant landscape with all the hills, castles and mansions. We could not miss out on the opportunity to try the local bakeries though. Our guided recommended the famous "Quijadas?" It's a little egg pastry with cheese (yum). It was a fun day with so much sightseeing to do and Portugal is a very beautiful country.

It was our first time taking a cruise so we decided we wanted to explore all the ports we visited. Portugal is a fascinating country. Elegant with spectacular landscapes with an exquisite weather. This excursion included visits to amazing towns full of history, castles, hills, gardens, and lovely, lovely hosts. Visiting the town of Sintra, we were able to meet some locals and hear some great stories, and decided to visit a nearby market for local appetizers. This excursion was well prepared, intimate with professional guides and we truly enjoyed the experience.
