Your Harley Davidson guided excursion begins from the Harley bike shop, just a short taxi distance from your St. Maarten cruise ship pier. Your excursion guide will be waiting for you to get checked in and your motors revving. There are several original Harley Davidson Motorcycle models to choose from - Sportster 883, Sportster 1200, Street Glide, Softail, Softail Breakout, Fatboys, and V ROD. Please indicate which model you prefer in the customer comment section when placing your order. You can even choose a CVO Screaming Eagle (available at extra cost, see pricing for this bike). The Harley Bike Cruise Excursion guide will go over all the rules of the road and the excursion itinerary before you get on your bike and follow the guide.
There is a basic route planned but several options are given to the guests along the way - depending on which options you choose to stop at, the excursion duration can range from 4 to 6 hours, depending on your excursion group's preferences and individual cruise ship schedules in St. Maarten port of call.
The St Maarten Harley Shore Excursion route typically starts with the group heading out from the Harley shop and winding up the hills for a couple of incredible lookout points at Guana Bay with St. Barth, Philipsburg, the salt lake, and a great view of your cruise ship! Then it is on to the Middle Region passing through Cul de Sac and Grand Case. You have the option to stop at the Iguana Farm ($5.00 USD entrance not included).
Then you are off to the French side capital, Marigot. Here you will pass through the French Quarter and Orient Bay. You will have an optional lunch stop at a local Creole restaurant (lunch is approximately $12.00 USD and not included).
The group will hit the road again on their way to Sandy Ground, Nettle Bay, Terres Basses Villas, and Mullet Bay for an optional beach stop. Your St. Maarten Harley Sightseeing Excursion group will arrive at Maho Beach for the famous plane spotting at the airport. Your shore excursion guide will time it right for the big planes coming in that seem to pass just inches overhead.
Then it is on to the Simpson Bay shopping area where you can make a stop and on to Philipsburg and the bike shop in Cole Bay. Guests may shop around for Harley souvenirs before hailing a taxi back to the pier (for details, please see Excursion Notes for taxi transportation fees to and from this St. Maarten Motorcycle Cruise Excursion).
