The friendly shore excursion staff will be waiting for you just beside the cruise ship pier in Grand Turk. You will get checked in, then get in the air-conditioned transportation and head out. The maximum capacity is just 14 participants to make this excursion more personal and less rushed than the big, cruise ship-sponsored Grand Turk Shore Excursions.

As your driver takes you around all 6.9 square miles of Grand Turk, they fill you in on the history of the island and point out the highlights and sights as you pass all the way around the island. Bottled water will be provided. There is even free WiFi in the van to post your Grand Turk sightseeing photos instantly!

The sightseeing excursion portion is approximately 1.5 hours long. Arriving back at the meeting point, you will be taken by a snorkel boat to the nearby shallow coral reef to see some of the incredible marine life. The snorkel excursion guide will pass out the snorkel gear and assist guests with how to use it. The warm and crystal-clear water off Grand Turk is almost perfect for snorkeling and the shallow reef allows guests to see the fish up close.
One of the friendliest marine residents are nurse sharks. Nothing to fear as these docile creatures are more like cats that enjoy a good scratch on the belly. The snorkel shore excursion guide will assist those guests who might want to pet one.
The next snorkel stop will be at a drop-off at the edge of the coral reef or "wall". The snorkel guide will assist guests at both sites. Snorkel gear is provided (mask, fins, snorkel, and vest) but guests are welcome to bring their own. Note that guests must know how to swim as neither location is not shallow enough to stand.
The boat and guide will take you back to the beach meeting point after the snorkeling. Guests may choose to make their way back to the pier at their leisure.
