    Excursion Notes
      • Excursion prices shown are quoted in US dollars.
      • As you may be visiting a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered for men and women.
      • We suggest you have cash (Euros) on hand for refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
      • Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.
      • Please note that admission or entrance fees to the attractions/museums, etc are not included.
      • Mobile or Paper vouchers are accepted.
      • Most of the buses are wheelchair accessible. The buses cannot safely accommodate two or more occupied wheelchairs, so if there is already a wheelchair user on the bus that you want to board, unfortunately, you’ll need to wait for the next bus. The wheelchair spaces accommodate wheelchairs measuring up to 70 cm wide, 120 cm long, and 135 cm high. If your wheelchair is larger than this it will not be possible to fit into our buses.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • Fold-up wheelchairs can be accommodated on the lower level of the bus only.
    • Many sites in the city are not wheelchair accessible.
    • Guests must be able to navigate a narrow steep staircase to access the top deck of the bus.
    • Guests must be able to walk on paved, gravel, and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines at most stops.
    • There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.
    • Seating on the bus is on a first come basis.
    • Excursion tickets are only valid on City Sightseeing buses. Unused tickets or tickets presented to another operator are non-refundable.
    • As there is no specific end time for the excursion, it is the guest's responsibility to know their ship's scheduled departure time and plan their day to be back on board at the appointed time.
    Frequently Asked Questions
    Will they cancel if it is raining?
    The Belfast excursion operates rain or shine, within safety guidelines. The buses include covered areas on the lower deck and many also include electric roofs over the top deck in case of inclement weather.
    Will there be restrooms?
    Restrooms are located near each bus stop. In Europe, a small package of tissues is suggested as public restrooms may or may not have toilet paper. Most public restrooms require a small fee. Having a few local coins is highly recommended, as they do not always make changes.
    Is there shopping time included?
    Shopping time is completely up to you. You decide how you want to spend your time.
    Can I use my City Sightseeing ticket on any on/off bus?
    Your ticket is only valid on the City Sightseeing buses. Unfortunately, other buses have accepted City Sightseeing tickets and then charged the guests extra once on board. There is no refund for unused tickets or tickets presented to the wrong operator.
    Can I use US dollars?
    Most large stores and restaurants will take major credit cards and some may take other currencies besides the Euro. Small stores restaurants or sidewalk vendors will usually only take local currency. The best exchange rates for currency are usually at major bank ATMs. The worst rates are at the airport, train stations, or exchange bureaus located in major excursionist areas. Before leaving home, please check with your credit card companies and banks on what transaction or other fees they may apply if you use a debit or credit card abroad. These are in addition to the fees applied by the vendor or host bank where you are using the card.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Belfast Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Belfast Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

I love to hop on hop off as I can visit many places and pay only one excellent price. To be my first time in Belfast, I feel like I took a lot from the city; the people, architecture, murals, etc. I wanted to especially see the Titanic Belfast and the International murals. We also took advantage of the free entrances for the botanic garden... a really lovely place, I took many pictures. Luckily we arrived on a beautiful sunny day and it made the experience even better. Please don't forget to tip the staff, they are the best.

Safe and easy way to traverse around this city. Language barrier was not an issue as the audio narration and map are also helpful. Some of my favorite stops include the Titanic museum and dock. You have to book the tickets separately. We were also surprised to see so many murals around city. Had never seen so many, each with a story to tell. Very interesting. First time visiting UK so we did hop on hop off tours in each port.

We did a Princess cruise last year and did this excursion. We were impressed for the beauty of the city. The city, in general, was a great mixture of modern and old buildings, and the streets were very clean and organized. We felt safe walking and stopped a couple of time to ask for directions and everyone was very accommodating and wanted to help us out. We loved the convenience of being able to get on the bus, travel around the city and then get off to explore.
