    Meeting Point

    For this Ocho Rios Horseback Riding and Ocean Swimming Cruise Excursion, you will meet just outside your cruise terminal in Jamaica. All specific information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. If there are fewer than 4 participants in the departure group, transportation is $20.00usd R/T p/p; if 4 or more participants then the RT transportation cost is included in the price.

    Excursion Notes
      • We suggest you bring a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, water shoes/sneakers, cash for photos, tips etc.
      • If there are fewer than 4 participants in the departure group, transportation is $20.00 USD (round trip, per person).
      • If 4 or more participants are booked then the RT transportation cost is included in the price. 
      • There are no lockers; guests may leave personal items in the van.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum participation age is 5 years old.
    • Only one guest per horse - no doubling up.
    • Children must wear helmets (provided).
    • Maximum guest weight is 240lbs (108Kg). 
    • Guests will be weighed on-site. Those who are overweight will not be allowed to participate in the horseback ride and will lose the deposit paid. Those guests may choose to wait on the beach for an additional charge of $25.00 USD. All others in the group must give 48 hours prior notice to cancel and must pay the balance.
    • This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
    • This Ocho Rios Horseback Riding and Ocean Swim Excursion at Private Beach may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

    No, only one person per horse with a maximum guest weight limit of 240# (108Kg).
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Ocho Rios Horseback Riding and Ocean Swim Excursion at Private Beach to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Ocho Rios Horseback Riding and Ocean Swim Excursion at Private Beach, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

The workers at the ranch were great. Very knowledgeable and patient with everyone. Horses were trained to stay on the path so they would never go very fast. Riding them in the ocean was pretty cool, the guides lead you around the water chest deep for a few laps and then everyone heads back to the ranch.

Loved riding in the water

This is something I have always wanted to do. So glad we were able to do this when we were in Jamaica on our cruise. The horses were very well trained and looked very healthy. We have done some other horseback riding excursions in other ports and this was hands down the best ever. Nice refreshments down on the beach.We are so glad that we booked with you!
