    Meeting Point

    For this Montego Bay Horse Ride and Ocean Swim Excursion, you will meet just outside your cruise terminal. All specific information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. If there are fewer than 4 participants in the departure group, transportation is $20.00usd R/T p/p; if 4 or more participants then the R/T transportation cost is included in the price.

    Excursion Notes
      • We suggest you bring a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, water shoes/sneakers, cash for photos, tips, etc.
      •  If there are fewer than 4 participants in the departure group, transportation is $20.00 USD (round trip, per person).
      • If 4 or more participants are booked then the RT transportation cost is included in the price. 
      • Times are approximate.
      • There are no lockers; guests may leave personal items in the van.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum participation age is 5 years old.
    • Only one guest per horse - no doubling up.
    • Children must wear helmets (provided).
    • Maximum guest weight is 240lbs (108Kg). 
    • Guests will be weighed on-site. Those who are overweight will not be allowed to participate in the horseback ride and will lose the deposit paid. Those guests may choose to wait on the beach for an additional charge of $25.00 USD. All others in the group must give 48 hours prior notice to cancel and must pay the balance.
    • There are no motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooter-accessible vehicles available.

    No, only one person per horse with a maximum guest weight limit of 240lbs (108 kg).
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Montego Bay Horseback Riding and Ocean Swim Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Montego Bay Horseback Riding and Ocean Swim Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

There were 4 of us and we had Solgee for our guide. He was wonderful! He shared some the country history while we were riding horseback to the ocean. Once we were at the ocean, he was so patient with us. We went in the ocean, and Solgee sang Bob Marley songs to us. It was a day we will never forget!

I really enjoyed this excursion! The driver was excellent and took very good care of us. Stayed with us the whole time and made sure we got back to the ship on time. Definitely bring a towel with you to put down in the saddle to protect your legs. Put sunscreen on before you leave the ship. Once you ride for a bit they stop at the water and you can prepare to get wet. My whole family really enjoyed it (3teenagers) the workers explained everything and were extremely helpful. I would recommend this experience!.
