    • The boat ride to the island can be bumpy. Guests with neck, back or hip ailments and women in advanced pregnancy should not participate.
    • Children need to be at least 5 years old and weigh at least 40lbs (18Kg) to participate in this excursion.
    • Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
    • Children ages 13-17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate in the absence of a parent or guardian.
    • To fit into the required life jacket, the maximum weight is 350lbs (159Kg).

    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.

My family and I enjoyed a lot this shore excursion because it had it all. A bumpy, fun boat ride, perfect weather, nature and the luck to see some animals so close. Our local guide provided instructions on how to walk to avoid accidents, stay all together and at the same time, he shared several facts about the island and the plants and animals. There was food by the campfire and that hot chocolate cup was the perfect compliment.

I took this excursion on my last cruise to see wildlife in their natural habitat. It was amazing! It is hard to choice which was better...the bears or the eagles. The weather also helped a lot that date, it was cold but no rain so we could complete the forest portion with no problem. By the end, after walking the boat ride was relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide, very informative. I recommend this shore excursion for all.

The banana boat ride was a fun way to get to the island and we encountered many sightings like seat otters and sea lions and many eagles. The hike was relaxing and John had so much info to share. He knows his surroundings which was a plus. The highlight was indeed the food by the camp fire everything was fulfilling and delicious. It would be nice to be able to camp out here .
