    For this St. Maarten Jet Ski at Orient Bay Beach, you will meet directly at Orient Bay, just a short taxi ride from your ship pier. All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Notes
      • We suggest you bring a swimsuit or comfortable clothing, a towel, sun protection, a camera, cash for additional purchases, tips, taxis, food, drinks, etc.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • A life jacket is required at all times.
    • The minimum age to drive a jet ski is 16 years old. Younger ones can drive if a parent or adult joins as a passenger.
    • There is no minimum age to ride as a jet ski passenger.
    • This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.

    What kind of jet skis are used?
    They are Yamaha VX 110 /4 Stroke wave runners (many times referred to as jet skis), and you will sit on them (vs standing).
    If I rented a jet ski for just one hour, Is it possible to extend the time?
    Yes, it is possible to extend 30 or 60 more minutes. Please ask the local operator for availability or simply pre-book 2 jet skis in advance and use the minutes whenever you want.
    My and my son both want to drive, but I do not want to pay for two jet skis...can we share a jet ski?
    Do not worry, you can switch driver/passenger at any time.
    How much is the taxi ride to the Jet Ski location at Orient Bay Beach from the cruise ship pier terminal?
    It is approx. $20.00 USD for up to 4 passengers (price per taxi, not per person).
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the St. Maarten Jet Ski at Orient Bay Beach to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the St. Maarten Jet Ski at Orient Bay Beach,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

I went on this excursion last year. I was a little skeptical because it was my first time booking separate from the cruise ship. It was super simple and easy. Me and my sister took a cab with a nice family to the beach (beautiful scenic route) and as soon as we got there they got us started even though we were 40 mins early!! we didnt feel rushed at all and it was an amazing time. We also felt like we got a lot of room to move around in. The people working there were super friendly and kind and didn't push us to buy extra time or push tips which I really appreciated. All in all it was an amazing day and i highly recommend to anyone reading.

This was amazing! Wife road with me for 30 minutes. Then she got off. I went for 30 more minutes by my self and had a freaking amazing time! Waves were big and made it challenging but awesome! Would do it again! The beach is still being developed again after the last hurricane. But it is awesome. The staff for the jet skis was fantastic and very easy to work with! Be prepared to see all kinds of people walking around on this beach area as it is the French side and yeah!

My sister and I bought a one hour ride at 10am on our port day. We got there about a half hour early and they let us go right away. There was a brief safely speech and they gave us our life jackets and then we were off. They didn’t bother us the whole time and they weren’t too strict on the time which I really appreciated. Also it was only us and like 2 other people so that was really nice. All in all it’s SOO worth the money. I can’t recommend this excursion enough!!
