Be part of history! See sights from out of this world, literally, at the Kennedy Space Center. As you explore the Visitor Complex you'll enjoy a fully narrated visit. Check out Saturn, robot scouts, simulators, and more. Also, enjoy the exclusive meet and greet when you arrive with a real NASA astronaut!

This begins with a pickup at a central meeting location in an air-conditioned bus and be driven to the Kennedy Space Center where you'll be greeted by an astronaut and welcomed to the center. That's right, someone who has experienced space and put their life on the line for the sake of science and our future. They will take you to the Atlantis Space Shuttle for some brief highlights of the facility then let you explore on your own. We also have available this same excursion but without transportation for those guests with a rental car - Port Canaveral Orlando Kennedy Space Center Admission Only (S3174). If by chance scheduling does not allow an astronaut to be on hand, guests will be given a walk-through visit of the Space Shuttle Atlantis facility.

Please note that this excursion must be booked a minimum of 2 days before your excursion date. 

You will have access to the restricted areas, and get to walk under the massive Saturn V rocket before it is off to the Shuttle Launch Experience. This is a space simulator that gives you a feel of what the astronauts go through with lift-off.

One of the most interactive and guest favorites is the Space Shuttle Atlantis! You will see up close the real spacecraft that flew in space. Now you can see it as the astronauts have with the payload doors up as it is when they are up working in space.

You can enjoy more than 60 interactive, touch-screen experiences. Check out the 3D IMAX movie to see what it is like to walk in space. Conduct a virtual EVA (extravehicular activity), practice virtually docking Atlantis to the ISS (International Space Station) and extracting cargo from the payload bay, create sonic booms, glide to a landing on the re-entry slide, experience the feeling of floating in space. You will even get to experience what the sunrise is like from orbit. You can strap in and get a real feel of what is like during a shuttle launch with the sounds, sights, and sensations. And to top it all off, get behind the helm in the shuttle cockpit! There is so much more waiting for you.

When your time comes to an end, your transportation will take you back to the meeting point in Orlando. Transportation to and from the meeting point in Orlando is not included.
