Over all very good excursion. Drinks and food weren’t included in our package which was the discovery package. A little on the pricey side. I’ve added the prices to show. The water was beautiful and every single person was so friendly! Very easy to find once we left the gates and walked down the hill. Our kids 6 and 4 enjoyed the animals.

First and foremost everyone and I mean every single person was very polite and courteous! Meeting point was just outside the port gate and too your right. Make sure you get the correct tour! Short 20-30 ride based on traffic. 5-7 min boat ride(smooth both ways) make sure to bring cash. Card is accepted with an additional fee(was not aware no biggie). Quick tour of the island/animals. Drinks were mixed too perfection and the food was great! Not a lobster guy myself however another couple had too, looked really dang good, presentation was well. Water was clear and plenty of easy snorkeling to see fish. Did not need a tour! Weather was intermittent mainly clay and some brief showers however the temps held in the 80’s. Will definitely be returning!

Fabulous and relaxing day on the beach! We chose the quiet side and spent the morning snorkeling and in hammocks. Jenny was a great server, coming to check on us and bring us drinks. We then went up to the bar for lunch. Lunch was filling and tasty. More drinks and hanging out in the lagoon. I never made it over to the "party" side but my friends who spent the day there loved it. No issues with sand fleas. I will be going back as soon as I possibly can!

A MUST do if you go to Roatan Nitro

This excursion is a must do if you visit Roatan. It's worth visiting this cruise port just for Little French Key. We went last year Aug. 2022 with 5 adults and 3 kids- 1 yo, 3yo, and 4 yo. It wasn't busy at all even though the island is set up to take large amounts of people. I will say at first I was a little hesitant to leave the cruise port as we've never done this but it was perfectly fine. It's a short walk down the hill to the meeting point. Which there were a few pleasant bystanders to help point us in the right direction. Once at the meeting spot our wonderful tour guide loaded us up and we were on our way to the island. I wish I could remember our tour guide/driver name because she was so nice, friendly, and informative. She asked if we wanted to stop at AJ's to see the monkey's and sloths which it was a must with the kids. It was such a fun and interesting once in a lifetime experience. Then we were off down the hill to where we got onto the boat and road over to Little French Key. The island is just absolutely beautiful. Stunning beaches with gorgeous waters. Truly paradise! There were so much to do or you could just lounge around all day in paradise. I will say the only concern I had was the food. The ticket included food but we were pretty leery on eating it. I would most definitely take some snacks with you specially if you plan on spending the whole day like we did. Truly an experience that you don't want to miss! Worth every penny to spend your day in paradise! We have already booked it again for our next cruise next month in March 2023.

I wad worried about the sand fleas, but I am happy to report I did not get bit. Our tour guide was super sweet, let us stop at monkey/sloth park before we got to the beach. It was only 12 dollars. When we got to the beach, we paddle boarded, kayaked and snorkeled. There is alot underwater to discover, especially if you go near the areas where the boats are.

We had a great time! It’s about 20 minutes from the cruise ship. The process to get there was a bit rough. Traffic and people trying to find their excursion was insane. Once we arrived there was a short boat ride to the island. Beautiful beaches, beautiful animals, beautiful water. Not overly crowded and it was clean. The weather was perfect. The food was good, not outstanding. Great photo opportunities. The people were nice. Overall great day.

I’ve done this excursion a few times and I really do love the beach and staff. I was disappointed recently that they have changed what is included. In the past the 2 drinks were whatever was offered but now the 2 drinks are soda, water or domestic beer. I was told that LFK is under new management and alcoholic beverages are no longer included. This was a disappointment. It’s an expensive excursion to not include any alcoholic beverages. Cash price is about $12 per drink. Be prepared.

We get to the island, it was beautiful. They tell us that there are no more seats on the side with the bar etc so we are fine being place on a sandy beach across the water from where the action was. Until we all realize that we are covered in red dots and lots of them. We sprayed down with bug spray which helped a little, now a week later a couple of us have actual sores where the sand fleas bit us and left their mark. I won't be back which is unfortunate because it could have been the perfect beach day.

The walk outside the cruise terminal was a little crazy with vendors yelling in all directions but as soon as we stepped out we see our taxi driver holding our name and she quickly escorted us to her vehicle. The ride to the ferry was fine and she purchased our passes and we were on the ferry heading over to Little French Key. I didnt realize there are 2 parts. One side is Little French Key and the other is Big French Key. They both looked very nice. Clean sand, lots of chairs and places to relax. The lunch was jerk chicken shrimp kabobs and rice and coleslaw. The trip came with lunch and 2 drinks a piece. We had a very nice day. After the trip I read a little bit about LFK and was somewhat disturbed about the owner his tax evasion and the smuggled animals throughout the years. I felt guilty putting money into something like that. Its a shame a place that is so pretty and a great tourist attraction has such negative stories. We did end up with little red bites that we were told were called no sea ums. Most went away after a day or two. We met our taxi driver at 2 and she drove us safely back to port! Very well organized and the staff there work very hard to take care of you.

This place is so beautiful! The people were nice, the food wad great and the drinks were priced right! Do not miss the chance to do the drift snorkel adventure! The guides are wonderful and the coral reef was breath taking! There is an international airport just down the street so we are planning on coming back asap to do it again!!

We went on our 2/29/20 Cruise and it was the best beach excursion we have ever done. So beautiful! And food and drinks were great! Service was even better. Be careful purchasing 2 extra drink coupons. I don't even remember getting back on the ship! No watered down drinks here! Can't wait to return here on 12/29/21.

Met our driver Cynthia and her excursion partner at the exit from the cruise area. The were holding signs with the names of those booked with them and wore a distinctive shirt to help identify them. Rode about 20 minutes in a nice air conditioned van to the area where we would catch the barge to the island. A brief wait for the barge to return and a short trip (about 5 minutes) to our area. We were met at the dock by a Little French Key server named Gary. He showered the group some of the highlights, including a few quite or more private spots to relax, the bars and food locations, and the bathrooms/showers. Plenty of first row chairs along the beach. Gary was slow making the rounds sometimes but one of the other servers i watched would have gotten 5 stars from me if I had been lucky to have her as my server. Nice relaxing place. Cynthia was on time and got us to cruise terminal in the same safe and professional way she delivered us to the site.

We have been twice to Little French Key. Be sure you go to Little French Key and not Big French Key. There is a big difference. It can be a little hectic finding the guide off the ship. You have to walk outside the gates and find the right person among 100 that are trying to get your business. The instructions do a pretty good job on how to locate the right person. Usually a small van with maybe another couple or family will go with you. About a 20 minute drive to the location. You have to take a little ferry over to the island. This private island has multiple locations for you to relax, they have rescue animals within the property. Food is good, service is good. Not too crowded although the word is getting out so it's getting larger crowds. We make it a habit to go to Little French Key every time we are in Honduras. You'll love it.

I have to admit I was a little nervous with the arrangements to pick up this tour, but I needn't have worried. I followed the directions provided and walked down the hill and there was our tour leader with my name on a board. The transportation to Little French Key was provided by a nice lady who provided us with information on the area as we drove. Upon arrival, we took a short trip over to the island where Nathan greeted us. He was excellent and took us on a short tour of the island and pointed out where different activities took place. Nathan was also our server for our stay. I can't say enough about Nathan, he was attentive but not too much! Just perfect. For people wondering about shade/sun. There are plenty of spots in both the sun and the shade. We opted for sun but with umbrellas which Nathan helped us with. I have to say the hammocks in the shade looked inviting. We took advantage of the rope swing and the paddle boards which we thoroughly enjoyed. The drinks were great and the options for lunch were great. We selected the hamburger and fries and they were delicious. There were options for a traditional island food also for the adventurous. I highly recommend this tour. Will definitely be back, well worth the money!!!

This is the absolute most gorgeous place on earth. Perfect sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, vegetation to swoon over. No amount of time would have been sufficient to take in this beauty. Not only was the island impeccable but the staff was top notch. Continually checking on you, laughing, joking, and so helpful. David at the bar was the greatest bartender and Rennie was an outstanding server. Not to forget the little guy who helped me lead to kayak and everyone in between. This is a must for all future vacations. You will NOT be disappointed

Wow! I can't say enough about how much I loved Little French Key. There were so many things to do, I wish our cruise allotted us more time. We arrived early from our Royal Caribbean cruise, roughly 8:45am. There were maybe 10 people when we arrived. An employee guided us all around the island, showing us the best places to eat and drink, where to get water gear, where the animals were, etc... We spent a bunch of time looking at their rescue animals. There was such a huge variety! We stayed around and watched the monkeys for a while. An employee came over and spoke to us about the monkeys, then pulled one out for us to meet. We fed him and took pictures of him in our hands. He then climbed onto our heads! We pet him for a while. This alone was worth the trip in my book! While the park did fill up throughout the day, there was plenty of room for everybody. I never felt the least bit crowded. We grabbed a chair and had an employee greet us, letting us know that he watches over our chair area, brings food and drink. I didn't expect this kind of service today. With the Shore Excursioneer package, we got a free meal and 2 free drinks. All of their alcoholic drinks were very tasty, as was their food. The beach's water was so amazing. I have never seen such clear water in my life. It was beautiful. My wife and I spent a lot of time hanging out in the water, seeing occasional fish and sea creatures. We went paddle boarding, which she was a lot better at than me! They even had a teeter-totter in the water, big enough for adults! I had a blast on it, as I landed in the water each time I went down. There are so many things to do here. We saw people snorkel, ride horses in the water, ride jet skis, play on the rope swing, row canoes... there was no shortage of things to enjoy. Some are an extra charge, but most things are included with the package here. The park does have free wifi, but don't expect to send more than a text. I tried sending a picture and had no luck. Thankful for the amazing workers at LFK, as well as the Roatan Exotic Adventures workers that drove us from the port to LFK. It was such a simple, relaxing, and fun day. Will return as soon as I can afford to!

We had a nice day swimming and relaxing at Little French Key. I enjoyed the peacocks walking around! The food and drinks were good. The transportation guide was great and very knowledgeable. A quick boat ride and we were there. I stopped at the sanctuary and held \"Granny\" the sloth. Loved that! I would definitely return. I would suggest water shoes as the beach has some rocky sand. Definitely a beautiful place!

There can be more detailed instructions on getting to meeting point. We were wondering around for a bit. So you exit the port terminal and go left up a steep hill and then down the hill. You do have to leave the security access gate, but from there the meeting point is not much farther. Our tour guide was waiting for us and drove us through a bit of the city, asked if we wanted to pet monkeys and sloths but we declined and requested to go straight to LFK. It’s a short ferry ride to the island. There is plenty of lounging area! Most directly by water. Even as more people arrived it never felt congested. Drinks were tasty and a hearty meal was included. Service was excellent. We were checked on several times and several employees offered us activities to do at a cost but were not about making a sale so we appreciated that. My girlfriend got her hair braided for a reasonable price. We also enjoyed seeing all of the animals on the island, some of which are not caged.

We came to Little French Key on October 29, 2019 (last week). There were four senior citizens in our group from Carnival Cruise for a day pass.This was our 5th time to Little French Key. Our waiter named Ryan was superb. He took us to a nice palapa (on the water near the Neptune water statue). Ryan was checking on us frequently for drinks and our lunch. Thanks to Ryan for his great service and his many smiles! As always....we will be back to Little French for a memorable day. Love you guys!

I’ve been my shore excursions this was absolutely the best ever. The boat ride to the island the food, service and quality of the beach can’t be beat. My only suggestion is to include 4 drinks instead of two.

I do not hardly ever review places, but I had to for this. It is worth every penny. The island is well taken care of, and our waiter Albert was awesome. My wife and I have been on many cruises, and have been to Hawaii, and the Little French Key is hard to beat. We cannot wait to come back to Mahogany Bay just to come here. You will not regret it at all.

Words can’t describe our love of this place. Was quiet, beautiful and the jerk chicken was to die for. Staff was great! My three kids also loved!! Highly recommend, so much to do! Orlan our driver was also amazing!

Beautiful little island with great service and top notch snorkeling nearby. Only concern is the lions cage had no lock, we were assured the “pin” was really long on the latch, but again- it was not locked.

Amazing Little French Key

We had an amazing time on Little French Key. We easily found our way to the meeting place and they drove us out the boat dock. The boat took us over to the island and from there we got a little tour. There are a few little shops and several bars. The water and beach were absolutely gorgeous and clean. The beaches were all groomed and raked. The water was as blue as blue can be. The stag was friendly and courteous. The drinks were great and so was the food. I will definitely recommend this excursion and I’ll be back some day. Loved it.

My family visited August 7th 2019 There were 12 of us, age range 7-70 Disembarked the Carnival Vista at 8:15 Arrived back to the port at 3:30 with an 2 hours to shop I read many reviews before purchasing this excursion and I was anxious and hoping everything would go smoothly. All the reviews talked about walking up a hill outside the security gate to get to our driver so I was a little worried about the walk. Here is a detailed review for you. When you leave the ship stay to the left, you will pass 2 fountains and head to the building with the red roof. There you can get your passport stamped. We walked thru to the cabs and got one for $2 a person. We were worried about walking so we decided that taking a cab would be best. The driver drove us out of the security gate and over the hill where all the excursions were waiting. (I would recommend getting a cab if you have younger or older people with you). We found Carla waiting in a pink shirt with a sign that had the name of each reservation (not guest, the person who the reservation is under). We got in her van and left immediately because we had such a big group. We traveled about 20 minutes. During our drive we discussed pick up time and we wanted to make sure we had time to shop before we had to be back on board. Roatan and ship time were not the same so we wanted to make sure we had the correct times down. We gave her our cash when we arrived to the small ferry. You must bring cash to pay, it is the exact amount on your emailed ticket. No hidden charges. You also must bring a printout of your ticket. She checked us in and passed out our food and drink tickets (1 meal 2 drinks per person). We got on the water taxi and left right way. The water taxi is a quick 3-5 minute ride. Once we arrived to Little French Keys we were greeted and given a tour of the small island. It was around 9:30 when arrived We put our bags on chairs and got straight in the water. Our waiter T-Rex took great care of us. He recommend that we order lunch at 11:15. Food and drinks were delicious! Jerk chicken, shrimp kabobs, beans and rice. The Monkey La La drink was the best! We never worried about our belongings we felt very safe and relaxed the whole time. We got there early enough that no one else was there. As the day went on more people started to arrive. We swam, snorkeled, jumped off the rope swing had our pictures taken with the monkey and had a wonderful time! Everything was at our leisure. The part of the island that faces Big French Keys has music playing from the bar, if you wanted to you could go to a different part of the island to find a quieter place to hang out. The snorkeling is really good between LFK and BFK. Lots of small fish and octopus. We didn’t snorkel any other places in LFK. When we were ready to leave we caught a water taxi back over and waited for Carla. Carla was not waiting for us but Anna was. I made sure that she knew we were with Carnival and she said that she would let Carla know that we were with her. Anna dropped us off where the taxis park inside the security gate. I would definitely recommend visiting LFK if you are visiting Roatan. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. FYI - there are other activities like paddle boarding, kayaking that were included in our excursion. The animal sanctuary was available for everyone too. For an additional price you can go horseback riding and swim with pigs. We will be back again!

This was our second visit to Little French Key, the first being several years ago. My main reason for booking a cruise that included Roatan was to be able to come back here. The “new” LFK is larger (and much more crowded,) but still retains the stunning beauty we remembered. The staff is helpful and friendly, the food is amazingly good (get the Island Plate,) and the water is insanely clear. We spent sometime in hammocks that let you hang suspended just into the water, which was absolute perfection—kudos to whoever came up with that idea. It was another perfect day, and I can’t wait to come back and do it again.

what a great day! First off, Kayla our driver was a sweetheart. personal attention and awesome driving got us to LFK in no time. She was a great tour guide. LFK was a little slice of heaven. Relaxing...beautiful...NOT crowded. Good dinner included and amenities abound. My only complaint was stand up paddle boards were not the best of shape. Made for difficult paddling.
