    There are several boats used depending on group size for that day - ranging from 23 feet to 38 feet (15 to 35 passengers) but larger boats are available.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Belize Manatee Watching in the Wild Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?

Our ship was having issues with tendering that day, so we were late arriving for the excursion. The main boat had already left. We ended up on a private tour instead. The guides were very knowledgeable, provided lots of information about Belize. They pointed out all sorts of wildlife as we searched for Manatees. Even stopped to watch a pod of dolphins play. We finally did find Manatees, but all that could be seen were their snouts when they came up for breaths. The guides said this was very typical and with wild animals you never know what you will get. The boat ride was a lot of fun. We opted to walk back to the terminal afterwards, as it was just an easy 10 minutes away and allowed us to stop at the Belize sign for photos. Would highly recommend this tour. We are a family of 4, kids are 10 and 13. We all thoroughly enjoyed this excursion.

We loved this excursion, the guide and our time in the excursion was amazing. I took this excursion because I have two kids I wanted them to have a good experience in our cruise trip. We had a wonderful time with Stacey and everyone at (tour operator). We had the guides all to ourselves and since our family was the only one on the manatee watching excursion they even went out of their way to give us a small tour when the excursion was over. The drive to the river was a bit long but Stacey shared many stories about the island. It was nice to see the manatees in their natural habitat. They are so funny and cute to watch! We really enjoyed it. We also learned that Belize is home to the most manatees in the world. This was a great way to explore the outskirts of Belize while enjoying a fun wildlife watching.
