    For this Excursion, you will meet right outside your Nassau Bahamas cruise ship pier terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Notes
      • We recommend bringing along sunblock, a swimsuit, a towel, a camera, cash for tips, photos, snacks, etc.
      • Professional photos are available to purchase - prices range from $5.00 USD and up, depending on the package.
      • There is an additional 12% Bahamian tax on the balance amount that needs to be paid to the operator directly.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum participation age is 12 years old.
    • All guests under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by paying adult/guardian.
    • All guests must complete and pass an extensive medical waiver.
    • Guests who are pregnant, those with epilepsy, heart issues, etc. are not permitted on this excursion.
    • Minimum age to ride along on the boat as an observer is 4 years old (see observer fee).
    • There are no motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooter-accessible vehicles available.
    • This Nassau SUB Mini Submarine and Snorkeling Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.
    Frequently Asked Questions
    How deep do the SUBs go?
    You will only go 15 - 20 feet below the surface. Your SUB is attached to a buoy and the diver is with you at all times.
    There are others in my group who do not want to do the activity but want to watch, is that possible?
    Yes, please see the order form for the observer fee. Note that the minimum age allowed to ride along on the boat is 4 years old. Children must be watched by parents at all times.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Nassau SUB Mini Submarine and Snorkeling Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Nassau SUB Mini Submarine and Snorkeling Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Although it might be intimidating at the beginning, the mini-sub is such a fun way to be underwater and enjoy sea life, even more than the regular snorkel. We went with our big family group and we all did participate in the activity.

My friends and I did this underwater scooter just recently. We had a blast and loved it! I wasn't sure about taking my underwater camera, but glad I did. You have complete movement of your hands the whole time, while your head stays dry. We could have done this all afternoon! For anyone who would like to try something totally different and fun, this is it!

This was such a fun shore excursion that we already know that we will do this again when we come back. These are pretty slick little machines that allow you to keep your whole head dry.....but you are under the water. All you do is sit down and putt putt around underwater. It was a blast. I am even a little bit claustrophobic and I was still fine. There was a lot of room in the bubble and the sights kept my mind occupied and I did not have time to freak out. Saw some beautiful fish and it was so easy! Just can't say enough about it.
