    For the Occidental Grand All Inclusive Beach Day Pass in Cozumel, your meeting location is just a 10-minute taxi ride away from the ferry terminal in Cozumel (approximate taxi cost is $18.00 USD for a cab of 4 people, per taxi). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Notes
      • We suggest that you bring sunglasses, camera, and cash for transportation, balance payment, tips, souvenirs, etc.
      • The breakfast restaurant is open until 10:30 AM (Cozumel local time).
      • The bars open at 10:00 AM.
      • Snack bar/restaurant is available from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM.
      • Motorized water sports are available at extra cost.
      • There are an ATM and currency exchange booth on site.
      • FREE day passes for infants or 2 years and under.
      • The walk to the beach is approximately 5-15 minutes.

    How do I get to Cozumel?
    There are 3 different ferry companies that run at various times from Playa del Carmen to the island of Cozumel. Purchase the one that best meets the departure time you need. The ferry ride over takes approximately 45 minutes and this excursion meets after a 20-minute taxi ride. The ferry and any taxi costs are not included in your excursion price (Ferry is approx. $14.00 USD per person / Taxi cost is approx. $18.00 USD for a cab of 4 people, per taxi).
    Is the day pass valid during any time of the day?
    It is valid from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM only.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Occidental Grand Barcelo All Inclusive Beach Day Pass from Playa del Carmen to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Occidental Grand Barcelo All Inclusive Beach Day Pass from Playa del Carmen,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

We were able to relax by the beach, waiters brought us our drinks and food, checked on us to see if we needed anything. Had a wonderful relaxing day!

Such a beautiful resort. We found a spot by the pool and relaxed all day. Our waiter was very friendly and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. We really did not want to leave, but we'll be back.

We were looking for something away from the crowds, and got exactly that. The staff got us checked in and we headed straight for the beach to find a cozy spot. The day was perfect! We enjoyed some time in the ocean and by the poolside. Great food, and our waiter kept the drinks coming. Definintely going back!
