    For the Cozumel Occidental Grand Beach Resort, All Inclusive Day Pass you will meet directly at Occidental Grand Beach Resort (Approximate taxi cost is USD 18.00 for a taxi of up to 4 people, per taxi). All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    The taxi ride takes around 15 minutes. Taxis can be found outside your cruise terminal (approximate taxi cost is USD 18.00 for a cab of up to 4 people, per taxi).
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Cozumel Occidental Grand Barcelo All Inclusive Beach Resort Day Pass Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Cozumel Occidental Grand Barcelo All Inclusive Beach Resort Day Pass Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Not the best redington beach

We had visited this resort with a day pass about 6 years ago and loved it. We decided to go again and our experience was no where near as good as it was before. The cab ride was $18 for 4 each way from port. Upon arrival we waited a short time to check in. The associate was pleasant and gave us a map with some basic info. We proceeded to the pool/beach area, it is quite a bit of a walk. The pool area is right on the water and the ground were clean but the pool needs updates. The beach is practically non existent due to erosion. I was very shocked because they had a beautiful beach but now there is barely any shore to walk along. The restrooms did not have paper towels or soap. The lunch buffet was not very large and we were disappointed in the options of food. Hot dogs, burgers and chicken nuggets are not what we expected. Dessert was very good. The drinks near the bar were weak but the bartender and beach server were very nice and attentive. Overall I would not recommend this day pass as there are many other options in Cozumel that offer better food/drinks and beach.

This is a beautiful resort. It's a hidden gem. When you drive up you don't realize how large a resort it is. When we arrived, we had to find someone to assist us. They gave us wristbands, took our remaining balance and handed us a map. They explained there were 2 pools and a buffet. We were given a voucher/card for the towels and were told we needed to bring back the cards at the end. We found the adult pool first. Its very quiet; however even though we got there at 10am there were no chairs left so we kept walking to the family pool. This is also where the towels are. Its a beautiful pool that backs up to the beach. Once again there were not enough chairs for the amount of people there. We check the beach and there was not much room. Overall we were dissapointed in the lack of chairs and when we did ask management, we felt like we shouldn't be there based on the look we were given. If you don't want cruise guests then don't advertise. we finally got chairs only because a couple was leaving. the Photos are a bit deceiving in that there is NOT enough chairs and NOT much beach area. The buffet was good Overall its a beautiful resort and I'd like to actually visit as hotel guest but would not go back as a cruise guest.

Super day! The resort was clean, nice pools, not overly crowded and very attentive staff. The lunch was good and had something for everyone. The team came around often bringing drinks! It was a perfect all inclusive.

This will be the 4th time my husband and I have visited the Occidental. The staff are polite and friendly, the resort is beautiful and clean, and the beach is fantastic! If you want an all-inclusive relaxing beach day, I highly recommend this resort.

I took the day pass on this 5 starts rated resort and spent the best time here with my hubby. First of all, we really loved the Mexican style of this resort along with its green and decorated areas. We came early and had the opportunity to have breakfast at one of their restaurants. We had a palapa right on the beach with lounge chairs, had drinks every time we requested and the restaurant was next to us. The buffet lunch was really good with plenty of food available. Unfortunately, the time flies and we had to leave to catch on our cruise. Until next time!

We wanted to book Mr. Sanchos, but could not due to a private party there, so we booked the Occidental Grand. The facility was very nice and clean. The beaches and service were outstanding.

We were so excited for this excursion. I had been before and could not wait for my BFF and my daughters to see it. They told us the resort was at capacity. When we got down to the beach all the beach chairs were covered and reserved with towels and very few of them being used. We asked at least 3 workers for extra chairs and they said, sorry we don't have anymore. I went back to check in and they said, just go back to the beach and we will check. After about 30 minutes they made an announcement, that no chairs could be held and if no one was in them after 15 min you could take the chair. AFter several hours folks begin to come get there towels and we were able to get chairs. AFter this we had a great time. I love this resort, however, you can tell over the past year things have changed and it's all about the money and not the customer.

If you want to visit a stunning resort this is the place to go! We felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves! The alcohol was great, food was exceptional, bartender was kind, staff was friendly, and taxi only cost us $18. This was the best experience we had on our whole vacation. We got to feed the iguana lizards which was really cool. We got to snorkel for FREE. ALL you can eat and drink on the most beautiful beach in Cozumel. You cannot go wrong with this deal! We will for sure be going back and I recommend this place to everyone!

The facilities are great, a big nice pool, beautiful beach, and calm ocean. The entertainment staff is a fun crew, they had us all laughing and playing. The bar is right there at the beach. We didn't want to go to the dining for the to enjoy the buffet, but they have a snack station with great hamburgers and nachos, so we stayed at the beach all day.

We had a great time on the beach and the water is beautiful. The food was very good and the service was top notch. The pool was closed for remodeling so we did not get to experience it. The Day Pass included snorkeling but be aware it is for only one hour. The snorkeling was very good for being just off the beach. There are iguanas around and the grounds were very nice. Bartenders made great drinks and provided service to you on the beach. Very nice. 25 min. taxi ride from port for $18 each way.

Outstanding very nice place. We have been to Cozumel to a lot of different resorts and hands down this is the best. Off the boat and on the beach in 25 minutes. Not a big crowd, friendly people, good food and drink. 18.00 cab ride for 3 people. Good luck and enjoy.

My wife and I just finished our cruise on Oct 4th. This day was the highlight of our cruise. It's a quick 10 minute trip by Taxi to the Resort. Check-in takes less than 5 minutes and then you are on your way to the beach. And WOW! Beach and water are beautiful. The service is great. The pool and resturant are at the same location, so you enjoy everything at your fingertips. If you are going to Cozumel, I recommend this day trip to anyone.

We all loved our visit to Cozumel at the Occidental Resort. There were 4 of us that bought the day pass online here and it was a great day. Everyone treated us very, very nice. We all really enjoyed the beach area and the comfortable lounge chairs. The food selection on the buffet was good and there was much to choose from. We were not big alcohol drinkers but we did like the cold beer! This is something we would do again.The taxi cost would have been kind of expensive if it had only been one or two of us but the price we paid was for 1-4 people! Very reasonable and reliable.

When we first walked in we were treated like special guests, not like cruise ship outsiders. The staff was so kind and nice. We had the best poolside waiter, Pedro. He took good care of us all day long. The property was spotless clean, all of the loungers were in perfect shape and the food...omg!!! I would love to come back to Cozumel again and do another day pass at the Occidental.

From start to end, this was a great excursion. The taxi ride was fast, smooth and even at $17.00 per taxi, it came out to less than $5.00 per person with 4 in our group. When we arrived at the gate, we showed the guard our ticket and he let us right through. The front desk had our reservation and paying the balance was quick and easy. We were able to enjoy all of the facilities while we were there including the pool, lounge chairs, umbrellas, kayaks and a whole bunch of other things we did not try but could have! They even have towel service included so we didn't have to bring those heavy, bulky towels from the ship. The buffet was all you can eat and was outstanding. There was a variety of choices and very good. The open bar that was also included was great too. We never had to wait for another drink to be brought to us. Thumbs up to the waitstaff!! Just an outstanding day at the Occidental and we will come back next time too.

I could not have wished for a better day than the one we spent at the Occidental when we cruised to Cozumel this summer. Gorgeous facility, great food, not overly crowded (the best part!) and stunning blue ocean. I should mention that the drinks were brought to us quickly too. We spent a great day laying on the Occidental beach and in the pool. Food on the buffet was very good - I tried to get the recipe for the guacamole but no luck. The waiters brought our drinks quickly and everyone was so polite. I wish our ship would have stayed longer! Would love to come back and stay at this resort on vacation.
