    For the Cozumel Playa Mia Beach Club Day Pass Beach Break, you will meet directly at Playa Mia Grand Beach Park (approximate taxi cost is $18.00 USD for a cab of 4 people, per taxi). All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. For guests purchasing the transportation, meeting instructions will be explained on the Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

      • Playa Mia is open from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM local Cozumel time. You are free to come and go at any time.

      • Beachside games are hosted by Playa Mia staff.
      • Hamburgers, as well as other a la carte items, are available at an additional cost.
      • Additional items/services are available at an additional charge: lockers, umbrellas, towels, hair braiding, food and drinks off the menu (if applicable), international a la Carte, massages, photos with macaws and iguanas, snorkeling, shopping (handcrafts, clothing, souvenirs, jewelry, cigars, beach gear and more).
      • Lockers can be rented for USD 6.00 per locker (plus a USD 6.00 key deposit).
      • Umbrellas and beach towels are available for rent for USD 6.00 plus a USD 6.00 deposit.

    Excursion Restrictions
    • There are sand/beach wheelchairs available at the beach club.
    • All children under 12 years and all visitors who cannot swim must be accompanied and supervised by his/her parent or guardian. (This will also apply to the water park and the floating park).
    • Children under 12 years old but taller than 4ft (122 cm) must show ID for proof of age.
    • The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old.
    • The use of shoes is not allowed inside the pools.
    • The maximum number of guests allowed in the Jacuzzi is 8 guests.
    • The use of the pools is not allowed for guests with skin injuries or skin illnesses such as skin infections, open wounds, flue, contagious illnesses, cuts, eye infections, etc.
    • All guests must pay attention to the floating park signs.
    • Admission to the floating park is not allowed to guests under the alcohol influence.
    • The floating park may have been evacuated at any time to guarantee the safety and well-being of all guests.
    • Guests must obey all the instructions given by the safeguards.

    Cancellation

    For the Cozumel Playa Mia Grand Beach Park Day Pass Excursion with Optional Round-Trip Transportation,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:

    • You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
    • Your ship misses/skips the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
    • Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.

The food was great, the variety of options were wonderful. I wish we would have known about all the deposits needed to access everything that was included. My only other feedback is that the meeting point for the transportation is about 2 blocks outside of the cruise terminal. I'm not sure why they can't be inside the terminal but that would have been far more convenient.

I traveled with my family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids ages 6 and 4). We had a hard time finding an excursion for young kids, that also had decent reviews through Carnival, but this one seemed to fit the requirements and didn't disappoint. We got the All you Can Eat Day Pass w/ Open Bar. Food was better thank what you usually expect on an excursion and drinks were decent. The kids loved the kid pool area/playground and all the mini slides. The inflatables in the ocean looked fun, but once you made the swim out there you just wanted to sit down. Overall, the day was great. The only negative for us was the walk to the transportation meeting area. After walking down the long walkway from the cruise in the heat and then through the plaza to the entrance off the street with 2 small kids, having to walk another 10mins to the meeting area was a lot.

Pros: staff was nice and water park was fun. Cons: The food was random and gross. The “alcoholic beverages” had little to no alcohol in them. We drank all day and never felt a thing. Total rip-off. 2 stars for staff and water park. I won’t be back.

My daughter (6) fell trying to climb up a slide. (Anyone else constantly tell your kids if they do that and fall they will hurt themselves?) She hit her mouth and broke her tooth in half (100% our fault). The staff and medical team were comforting and attentive. They couldn't do much for her broken tooth or her going through "the worst thing ever" (- Mariah M. age 6) but they did everything they possibly could. Aside from that the food was great and the facility was clean and extremely friendly. We will definitely come back, and most likely Mariah will be climbing up slides again by then. Playa Maya: 10/10 would recommend. Having kids under the age of 6: 2/10 not recommended for the faint of heart, proceed with caution and perhaps under professional psychiatric supervision.

We had an amazing time on our excursion and were returning here for a 2nd time since 2018. Our kids love the pools and the beach time and you get more time than booking here than through the cruise lines in many cases. Our wait staff was amazing, especially Ricardo! Would recommend this excursion for families with kids of all ages who want a nice day on the beach with pool options and a splash pad for the kids!

We were the first visitors to arrive and got great chairs near the water. The resort was clean and offered so much to do. We enjoyed the water activities including kayaks, aqua cycle, and inflatable slides. The inflatables had missing handles to get on the slides. That was rough. But they have a nice clean pool, lazy river and great area for the kids. Drinks were great and the ceviche was delicious! Wonderful resort and we'll be back.

I only booked this day excursion because I wanted to be on a beach with activities for kids and not paying a lot of money. I just took the entry for the beach which includes the kids pool area too. Good beach not crowded but lot of seaweed at the bottom.

Overall this was a good experience. People were nice and resort was clean. Food was good also. My only issues were the both you had to go to if you paid for transportation was away from the port and there were no directions on where to go. That was a bit stressful. My only other complaint was the water at the beach was very cloudy.

This is a wonderful place to come with young children in Cozumel. I would recommend getting the transport option as well as it made things so simple and stress-free. The place was clean and pretty and the water park was wonderful for the kids. Food was ready and hot and all sorts of drink options were available. The bathrooms were very clean and we all felt very safe there.

If you are traveling with 2 young children and wondering where you can take them in Cozumel, this is the place. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Cozumel beach access is right there and kids can have fun with the sand. The big winner for the kids was the “water park” with lots of small slides and fountains to entertain them to no end. It’s nice to have options of beach, water park, and just a pool. The food was good and plentiful and all sorts of drinks are available for adults and kids. We also purchased the travel package which was WONDERFUL. There was no worry about where to find a taxi To and from the cruise pier. Thanks for a great time!

Playa Mia had a very nice and clean facility but the food was less than so so and our waiter wasn't super attentive with drinks, we had to ask for him several times or go get the drinks ourselves. We got the all-inclusive package with an open bar. The rest of the staff was attentive and very good. Bathrooms were spotless which I appreciate and the weather was beautiful. We were at Mr. Sanchos last time and it was much much better in our opinion.

We booked Playa Mia mainly because we had our 4 year old nephew with us. It had a good amount of pool space and great water slides. The beach was really nice and the waiters were on the ball! If you're looking for a quiet getaway (which we weren't this time), then this isn't for you. It is a great family getaway though!

My family and I decided to try something new and went with Playa Mia. It wasn't a terrible experience but it could have been so much better. The workers were so rude, they acted like they really hate their job. I never had not 1 person come and ask us if we needed anything, drinks, food, water....nothing!There are several bars around but if you reserve the all inclusive pass you can only get drinks from certain bars (which are not labeled to know which). The food was mediocre, cold and the buffet closed early. We got a locker when we first arrived $8 with a $4 deposit returned when done but the counter to turn the key back in closed before we could get our deposit back. I will just stick to Mr. Sanchos from now on, they have great service!!!!

As soon as we got off the ship we took a taxi ride to Playa Mia. Our taxi driver spoke very little English but he understood where we wanted to go. We arrived early and paid our balance at Playa Mia. Since we were one of the first people to arrive we had a choice of lounge chairs near the water. We were waited on by the staff for drinks. For lunch they had a good size buffet setup with a lot of choices. They had a lot of water inflatables to use but it was too windy that day for them to put them all out. They have pools, a water slide, volleyball ball, jet skis to use. When it was time for us to leave there were taxis readily available when we headed back to the ship. We shared a taxi going back so we paid less going back. We were dropped off across from the terminal and had to walk through the shops to get back to the terminal. Overall it was a great deal for the price. We saved a lot for what the cruise line was going to charge, we were able to stay as long as we wanted.

Inflatables in the ocean were excellent- well monitored by staff to keep everyone safe- love that the catamarans- peddle boats and trikes were all included- great snorkeling with the Mayans ruin replicas but you have to go find them your self- nothing to point out where they were- I found them close to the inflatables after exploring other areas- great pools and food- the only negative was the water slides did not have enough water pressure and I got stuck several times

From beginning to end the process for booking was simple. The location to meet our taxi was easy to find. Once at the beach club we met Julio who explained how our transportation would be available once we were ready to leave. The buffet area for food was easily accessible to all. The water activities were great. Will book with them again. Playa Mia Beach Club was clean and had plenty to do.

Our family had a wonderful time at Playa Mia. The staff was great, very attentive, friendly and professional. We took our 5 year old granddaughter and she loved the Kids pool area and the beach. The drinks was great. The food was good, wish it had been more authentic to the area but it was still good! The non-motorized things like the bikes, canoes, sailboat was a lot of fun. Very relaxing day! We would go back again!

This beach resort had plenty of activities to choose from such as water slides, two swimming pools, massages, shopping, kayaking, and jet skiing. If you rest a jet ski, you have to go to this building on the beach to reserve your time for the day. It's best to do it early, or as soon as you get there so you will have a better chance of getting the time slot that you want. They also had showers and lockers to rent and don't be surprised if you see an iguana's walking around. The buffet was good as they had a lot of selections of American food. If you want to go to the inflatable water park, you need to get a life jacket and be prepared for a good swim.

We had a group of 8 adults, 1 - 11 year old and 1 - 18 month old in our group and everyone had a blast! This is the best place for small children/babies because their splash pad/kid water park is to die for! Our sweet Emma had so much fun going down at least 10 little slides in the kid area. Us adults, had a blast going down their 2 big water slides. The beach is awesome and there's plenty of room for lots of people! Their play stuff in the water was also lots of fun because they are hooked together and you don't have to pull yourself out of the water every time. They have a huge covered area where there are 2 buffet lines and several open bars! There are also all kinds of shops you can buy anything at. The canoes were included and some of our party used them as well as the snorkel gear (that costs a little extra) Overall, we will definitely go back if we are ever in Cozumel again! Thanks Playa Mia for a great day at the beach! We did not purchase the transportation but were able to get a van to take us all there and back for $51 each way!

We have visited Cozumel many times, and this was our first for an all inclusive. This place surpassed our expectations. We reviewed other all inclusives (Mr. Sanchos), and decided this was better, and it WAS!! For only $40 each, we had access to all pools, waterslides, lounge chairs, snorkeling, water bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, food and drinks. The staff was OUTSTANDING! Always there to bring you drinks and even food if you wanted (but we got our food, we are not that lazy). After multiple reviews and videos, it was recommended to get there early to get a lounge chair or table. There was four cruise ships in that morning, so our group of 7 left around 9:30 am. For a fee of $5 each in a taxi, we arrived in 15 minutes to a practically empty resort. We got two tabels with umbrellas for free right next to one of the drink shacks. We left around 3 pm with full bellys and more drinks than one can imagine. You always had something to do and the food was perfect. Clean and very very safe. Taxis were waiting to take you back to the ship for another $5 per person. This place is ten times better than Mr Sanchos. Music was stupendous, not too loud, but se tthe atmosphere on fire. It never filled up with people and never seemed crowded. We will come back here every time we visit Cosumel. You can get a locker for your valuables, they are large and cost $8, but you get $4 back when you return the key. Bathrooms clean and can change clothes there too. Outside showers everywhere to wash sand and salt water off. Recommend to any family.

Completely satisfied with this excursion, liquor choice could’ve been a little better but we were not disappointed, with kids buffet other drink options should be available. Food was decent, amenities were great!

My husband had been here before several years ago on another cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it, so we decided to book this place again. Wow, it has changed! It's been completely renovated and updated, and they are still adding more new things to the park. The buffet was comprehensive, clean, well maintained, and delicious! The entire seating area was clean, and covered, making it enjoyable to eat at your leisure. The sand was a BIT large, so I would recommend sandals when walking the beach to and from. Overall the beach and views were clear and enjoyable. They had staff available to service you from your beach chairs who were incredibly friendly! They had two different pools of good size, so if you had some kids or don't enjoy the gulf water, there were other water options. The cab ride was $17 each way plus tip for two people, so I would recommend getting the optional transfer. Overall, it was a great experience, and would highly recommend for any size group.

It was OK, water was cloudy only because of the weather. You did not have a lot of vendors trying to sell you stuff so that was really good. We had a good time. The buffet was good, again it was a good value.

We had such a great time!! The beachfront resort was absolutely beautiful!! We rode the jet skis and the ocean tricycles. We swam out to the floats in the ocean and totally enjoyed it. We didn’t get a chance to kayak. There was an all you can eat buffet and an open bar. I had the time of my life!!!

This was a fun day at the beach. Nothing special but fun. The kids loved the blow up water park in the ocean. The beach was nice. The food was decent. Buckets of beer are affordable. I would opt to just order off the menu and order your drinks ala cart unless you’re there to party. Then all inclusive might make more sense. Plenty of beach chairs. Water was calm for swimming. We did have a storm that day so the snorkeling for the underwater Mayan structures wasn’t very good. All in all fun relaxing day.

We went here with five children, ages 3-18, and seven adults. There is literally something from everyone, from waterslides to snorkeling and the obstacle course in the ocean was pretty cool too. We had a great time and even though the place was crowded, it never seemed that way because everything is pretty spread out. We had a great time and will be back!

The beach was beautiful, the waiter was really nice, we were able to be seated in the front row closest to the water. The only thing I didn't like is that the inflatables were farther out than they looked in the pictures. We chose this specific place for our older two boys, ages 7 & 10 at the time. Other than that it was great, and we were able to take the kids to play in the little waterpark after the beach to rinse off and cool down.

Our family of 9 had a great day at this location. The food was plentiful, the beach was beautiful, and the workers were incredible. The only set back was our walk to their pick-up station was about a mile away. It would have been better if they had a pick up at the dock. Other than that, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
