Enjoy the beautiful island of Nassau from above and below the waters of the Caribbean. It is a sight to behold, and you won't want to forget your underwater camera!
You will meet your guide at your Nassau cruise port for a short walk to your 40' boat for the day! Settle in, sit back and enjoy the view. Sail past the coastline of Paradise Island where the famous Atlantis Resort is located and admire the numerous breathtaking multi-million dollar homes that spot the landscape.
After arriving at either Sea Garden, Rose Island, or Pearl Island, you will receive your snorkel gear. After the crew shows you how to use it all and helps you if needed, you will hit the water for 30 minutes of guided snorkeling. The sea comes alive with its many colorful tropical fish and coral. After getting back aboard your boat, you will travel to Green Cay, where you will have the opportunity to swim with the amazing sea turtles in their natural habitat. Mother Nature is unpredictable but sightings are constant. Then you will re-board the boat and head to your next destination.
Just a short ride away, you will arrive at the private island, depending on weather conditions, you would head either to Rose Island or Athol Island for some relaxing beach time! Access to the beach is via the boat ladder, and the shore is a short distance away. There are no facilities on the island since it is not inhabited, but you will be given complimentary drinks (Bahama Mama or non-alcoholic beverages) to enjoy while you swim, relax, or walk along the beach.
After all of the snorkeling and sun, you will have worked up a nice appetite. Take a short boat ride to the location for your Bahamian fish fry! Enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared entree of either cracked conch, fried fish with green salad or conch salad (only one entree per person). If you are not a seafood fan, just make a note with your reservation so that chicken dishes can be prepared especially for you.
Following your meal, you can relax on the boat and enjoy the sights again as you travel back to your point of origin and the short walk back to your Nassau cruise ship.
