    For the Roatan Private Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Charter Excursion, you will meet outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay). All necessary information is included on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    • Optional, pre-arranged, round-trip transportation from your cruise ship terminal in Roatan.
    • 4-hour private catamaran sailing and snorkeling excursion.
    • English-speaking, professional snorkel guide.
    • The snorkel set includes varied-sized fins, a sanitized snorkel, a silicone mask, and a vest.
    • Refreshments - cold bottled water, juice, beer, rum punch, and spiced platanos/banana.
    Excursion Notes
      • We suggest you bring a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, waterproof camera, cash for tips, additional purchases, etc
      • Transportation is not included, the operator offers R/T transportation service for $15.00 USD per adult, and $10.00 USD per child. Transportation time is approximately 30 minutes.
      • Maximum number of people in this catamaran is 15 guests.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • Guests should know how to swim and be comfortable in the water.
    • Guests will use a ladder to climb in and out of the water from the catamaran.

    Cancellation

    For the Roatan Private Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Charter Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

If you are looking for a shore excursion out of the typical crowds, you are in the right place. My friends and I had in mind what we wanted to do, we are kind of party noisy people and sometimes that can be annoying for others. We had our private boat, captain, equipment... it was at our own pace and the instructor could focus more on those ones who were not that good swimmers. It was totally worth to pay for our own boat.

Great from the beginning, all the service, in general, was prompt and efficient. We decided to take the transportation, we did not have to worry to find cabs or waste time. During our travel time, we asked several questions to our guide (we are beginners) and he was so patient and kind. Nothing bad to say about, well just if maybe one more hour would be perfect.

I choose this awesome trip for my bachelorette party. Everything was more than great and the staff was the best team. They assisted us all the time with the equipment, instructions, etc. They are well provided with drinks. The boat is safe, clean and the staff makes you feel like if you in a yacht.

We were kind of nervous to book with a company outside the cruise ship and now I'm so glad we did! The excursion was only for us, all the attention and service, we didn't have to share with more guests. I suggest to pay for transportation, make it simple, you will save time and will be safe all the time. I cannot describe what you'll see during the snorkel portion, you need to be there to know. The best choice at a very affordable price.

We already know that we will do our best to go on this tour again. By booking this as a private tour we just had our group onboard. There was a small group of us and we all like to snorkel. We had heard that the Roatan water was beautiful, but it really doesn't take your breath away until you get there. The boat was very nice and we had plenty of room. The crew was very good, letting us know where we were headed and what we could expect to see. The fish were everywhere and so colorful. We were more than happy with our shore excursion in Roatan. Next time it will just be the 2 of us traveling and we will do this as a shared tour with others.
