    For the Cartagena Colombia Authentic Native Fishing and Cooking Excursion, you will meet directly at your Cartagena cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    For the Cartagena Private Native Fishing and Cooking Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Fun, immersion experience with the people of La Boquilla. The ride through the mangroves was amazing, and the food was so good! Would absolutely recommend this! They also kept watch of the time very well to get us back to the ship.

This was wonderful - from the ride out, to the canoe trip and net fishing. But the food, well it was amazing! We only made this 4 stars because our guides did not seem to understand our need to be aware of time. One even left to go to lunch and never returned while the others wanted to wait for him. We had to remind them of our time limits and, if we did not insist on returning I wonder if we would have made it in time for our ship. It made pretty stressful. so, I’d do it again! Delightful tour and people!

We were on a Celebrity cruise and booked this excursion. We had no idea what it was or how it would be. It was great. After an adventurous drive thru Cartagena, we ended up on the beach driving to our destination. We were shown to an old wooden boat and taken out by our two guides to "fish". This consisted of throwing a large round net into the water trying to catch small fish to put in the crab traps. It looks easy to throw, but after 50 tosses, never caught one fish or threw it correctly. Thank god for Ivan. Anyway, after a couple hours of fishing, crabbing, and attempting to stand up on the boat and push it around with a wooden pole (very difficult), it was time to head in. We went to a house on the river where we had a few beers and they cooked up fish and crab for everyone. Outstanding! After eating we were driven back to our ship and another white knuckle ride. We were the first people to book off the cruise ship. They're still getting some kinks out, but for the price and experience, it's worth double. My wife and I have been on quite a few excursions, this was one of the best. If you do go on this, remember, you must walk completely out of the cruise terminal to meet your guide.
