You will start your sightseeing excursion with some of Aruba's famous but often overlooked highlights on just for your group excursion. The first stop will be at Lourdes Grotto. This is a Roman Catholic shrine located in a rocky cave. A 1,500-pound stone statue of the Virgin Mary was hoisted into the sight. Lourdes is the ending point of an annual procession, the Feast of the Lady Lourdes.

Next is the St Theresita Church where the annual procession begins. This is a little church that goes by big names - Santa Teresita di Nino, San Nicolas, Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, and a few more. Learn the background of how all of these names came to be for one small church.

Then you will visit the famous, authentic Charlie's Bar. Established in 1941, this well-known spot was the hangout for sailors and oilmen alike over the years. The interior is an unusual display of items left by past patrons and an odd assortment of treasures including license plates from around the world. Take some photos, buy a beverage, and enjoy your stop at the legendary Charlie's.

The San Nicolas Community Museum is next on your Aruba sightseeing shore excursion list. A newly opened facility now holds a collection of artwork, antiques, and historical items. The items on display show the charming history of Aruba's society.

After leaving the museum, your private group will have a choice of where to spend your beach time - either Rodgers or Baby Beach. At both locations, guests can find restrooms, various rental gear, and small places to purchase food and drinks. Relax, sun, and enjoy the water for approximately 2 hours.
